He said it would get me outside Thor's chambers. He didn't say it would hurt like a bitch.
"Ready?" he gave me his charming smile.
"yeah..." I said, absolutely ready to take on anything. Until a million needles seemed to jab me all over. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" I felt the force pull me fast, but the needles seem to jab into my skin deeper and deeper, until I couldn't take it anymore. And I found myself in front of a golden door, beautifully carved. Thor, finally! I looked at my hands to see if they were bleeding. They weren't, but they were a light blue, which seemed to fade as I looked at it.
Ignoring (or trying to ignore) that, I knocked on the great gold doors, and they opened a second later.
"Jane!" I exclaimed.
"Danielle Stark!" she laughed. "What are you doing here!?"
"Oh, Thor didn't tell you?" I didn't quite know how to say I'm the fiance of a god.
Hell, I didn't know how to say it to myself!
"I dont think so..." she smiled at me. "What's up?"
"Where's Thor!?" I asked with a sense of urgency. Loki was still alone in that temple, we had to rescue him.
"He's not here."
"Not here!?"
"He went to Earth."
"What the hell for!?"
"He didn't say..." Jane frowned. "Just said he's going and left before I could ask questions."
"Man, I'd kill for some cell reception right now..."
"You and me both!" she laughed. "Is everything okay?"
"No, nothing all right. But I don't think Thor went to Earth on his own will. There's no reason to, because you're here!" I quickly explained the situation.
"I think they plan to isolate Asgard's protectors and take the city down easily. If Loki is in Jotenheim, he's helpless. Thor can't ever get back, because Heimdall is.... I dont know WHERE he is..." I felt scared. Who could help, if Thor was gone too. I wasn't sure Odin-All-Father would be very pleased if I walked in bearing bad news. Not that I had an option.
"We have to go to Odin-All-Father. He's the only one who can do anything now."
"He's not here."
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?"
"Frigga said he wont be back for a few days."
"Well...." Sif! I ran to where I thought she may be. Sure enough, at the field, teaching the Warriors Three football. I cut across the field to where Sif was exasperated explaining the rules.
"Oh Danielle, Thank Valhalla, I don't know how to...."
"Sif, not now, Loki's in trouble. So is Thor.." I tried to catch my breath. "Well, we all are."
"What happened!?" Volstagg stepped forward. I explained for the second time the whole thing, including how Thor may be trapped in Earth.
"Earth!?" Hogun asked.
"Midgard..." I explained, forgetting the term was more popular. "We need to save them."
"We have to kill this impersonator!" Sif said. "We can take the Bifrost to get Thor, then rescue Loki."
"No, you go get Thor, I'll go back to Jotenheim.." I said.
"I cannot let you go alone to the Land of giants!" Sif exclaimed. "Its dangerous, and you're a mortal."
She made sense. If we went with Thor, we could handle the situation better.
"We must leave immediately...." Volstagg said. "But we cant let him be warned. We must take him by surprise."
"What's the plan?" I asked. They looked at me like I was an eight-year old.
"This..." Sif grabbed my hand, and a second later I appeared behind "Heimdall". He didn't turn back, even though the four started talking.
"Ssssh!" I whispered.
"He can't hear us. Nor see us." Sif said. "But he will in a moment."
