A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Being Back..

Loki's POV:

Sigyn was away... for once. I removed the covers and got out of bed. The wounds were almost completely healed and nothing hurt anymore. Well, except Danielle being far away. 

"Loki, you're awake!" Frigga walked into the chamber and hugged me. "Are you all right?"

"Just fine, mother... Sigyn has been taking care of me." I hugged her back and looked over her shoulder, where Sigyn smiled. 

She let go of me and observed my face, her fingers tracing where the Jotuns made their mark with their swords. I flinched slightly and she took her hand back. 

"Did you not defend yourself?"

"I didnt know if they had Danielle and Thor...."

She understood and looked down. 

"Mother... they're in Midgard." 

She looked back up at me, shocked. "What on..."

"Jord is in Midgard..." I said. "And I have to go there, it could be dangerous!"

"Loki... Thor and Danielle are perfectly capable of..."

"NO! I will not be left sitting here while they....."

Poor little Loki who stayed alone in his big gold room.... Stolen only to be overshadowed by someone greater.... 

"No..."

"No?" she repeated. 

Little Loki that nobody liked... 

"Go away." I told her. "Please, leave me alone."

"Loki..."

"I said LEAVE ME ALONE!" the rush I felt scared me and I realized I was holding the scepter. I sighed and dropped it. "Please..." I said quietly.

"I could try and remove all those memories..." Sigyn set down a tray on a nearby table. "Anything that upsets you."

I looked up at her from my book. "Danielle says its all of those memories that make us who we are."

"That is a philosophy for people who have had a happy childhood."

"I have no complaints about my childhood."

She looked at me as if I lied. 

"Well, it could be different..." I started. 

"Do you want me to wipe out all those memories?" 

I stared at her. "I... I cant let.."

"You wish to only keep those memories because its a reason for you to feel sorry for yourself."

"I hardly think you're one to tell me about me."

"....That once I have taken away what pains you, you will have nothing to complain about." 

I didnt like her decoding me like this. It was only Danielle who could ever..

The gold doors flew open. "Well, hello, stranger!" Danielle's voice came.
