Five years later.....
"Chris, you gotta stop doing that."
"You did it..." Chris frowned at me. "Don't lie, I've seen your year books, you weren't exactly the teacher's gem."
I sighed. Chris was five, but he looked and thought like a fifteen year old. Man, Asgardians age real quick. And stop at 23. Convenient, I'll have a hot husband when I'm wrinkled at 60. Not something I was looking forward to. I dont even get it, he's half human. Mortal. Whatever. I guess its a relief he grew up quick, I cant handle the baby act for too long.
Although he did still act just as careless.
"Admit it, even you think its funny...." he grinned at me.
Well. Mom used to come to my school when I was going to get suspended. She would hear the teacher out, say sorry, then I'd tell her my side, we'd laugh and hang out for the rest of the day. I always admired that, she was so cool and easy going.
"Fine, maybe it was. But the answer to, 'its hot in here, switch on the A/C' is not, "oh sorry, thats my fault'.."
"But I AM hot..." he shamelessly smiled. "You did it too. And I get good grades, so it's not that bad."
I wanted to laugh. He kept saying he may be a frost giant, but was still hot. It wasn't arrogance, it was... I dont know.  "Your room, Chris. As long as you manage a way to college without getting killed, I'll be happy."
Ugh... Im twenty-six and with a five (or fifteen) year old. He laughed, and after giving me a kiss on the cheek, went to his room and shut the door. And the other opened.
"Hey.." Loki hugged me. "I missed you."
"Yeah, me too. Been on hell of a day. How was school..?"
"Well... its disturbing teaching a class knowing some of the girls have a.... " he made that adorable confused face again. "I'm not sure what to call it."
"A crush? Yeah. Wow, didn't see that coming.." I joked. He put his hand behind my neck and kissed me. "So, Thomas..." I said, reffering to the name he decided to go by on earth now. "Dinner?"
"What's for dessert?" he stared into my eyes, and somehow he made that sound gentlemanly instead of dirty. He touched my hand, his eyes still burning into mine, and suddenly I felt cold. I stepped back.
                              "What's wrong...?" he asked.
"I - I dont know..." I felt cold. Like... like someone poured a bucket of cold water on me. I was FREEZING.
"Danielle.... What's happening to you?" Loki stepped forward, but I kept stepping away from him. "No don't..."
I felt my clothes cling to me tight, but the cold made me numb. I knew I was on the ground, but I didn't feel a thing. Loki knelt by me, looking scared but concerned. The cold was inside. I felt everything freeze. My hands were... ice blue-?
I looked at Loki. He was staring at me, and for a minute I had to ask if he was even breathing. He fell and sat cross legged, still staring at me.
