A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Tony's POV

"It makes no sense. Where the hell is she!?"

Pepper set a cup of coffee down and sat next to me. I looked at her. She hadn't slept in a few nights, her eyes were puffy and tired. 

"Pep, go sleep... I'll take care of stuff here." I kissed her. She sighed and got up.

I pulled into Danielle's driveway and bust the door open. 

"Intruder Alert!" Jarvis rang out.

"It's me, jarv..." 

I went up to her office first, for something. Anything. Maybe she took something from there she would need. I didnt know. I just needed to do something. I started to sift through her things. All business. Her desk had a single picture. Me and her. She was seven and was wearing the small iron man suit i made her. I thought she'd have taken that with her, if she left.

Loki....?

Wait... Loki and Danielle were both gone. Did he do something to her? Did they decide to dissapear from S.H.I.E.L.D's radar? Did she hide him? It annoyed me that I could do nothing to find out. 

"Jarvis.... any ideas!?" I said absent mindedly. 

"Sir, I did over hear Miss. Stark and Loki discuss the bifrost."

"Whats Bifrost?"

"Portal between all nine worlds, in a nutshell sir."

"Oh jeez...."
