(For Aishwarya Sree, my absolute adorable sweetheart... thankyou SO much!)
Loki:
Early morning, as usual, I woke up to Danielle standing in my balcony. She never slept a minute later than 5am. I got up and opened the transperant door and stood there for a minute to hear her sing.
You're the only one I ever loved
And I only wanna make it good
So If i love you a little more than I should
Please forgive me
I know not what I do...
Please forgive me
I cant stop loving you...
She finally must have realised I was behind her and turned.
"Good morning..." she hugged me. "Sleep well?"
"Yes. I had you next to me." I kissed her. She blushed and turned back to the view of Asgard. The sun was rising, spreading a brilliant maroon through the city. The palace walls were a mix of gold and very dull red. The city looked so different. And I had seen it so for the first time with Danielle. The morning smelt...
"Cupcakes on a christmas morning..?" Danielle finished for me and rested her head on my shoulder. I hugged her from behind.
"Exactly..." I said.
She sighed happily. We gazed at the city for a while before she sat on the railing. "When do we go back?" she asked.
"Go back!?"
She narrowed her eyes at me and laughed. "Well, we cant stay here."
"Danielle... you must."
She got down from the railing. "Why!?"
"Danielle... The slightest thing could anger you and turn you into a Frost Giant. You must get a hold on that."
"So... how long should I stay here!? And what about Chris?"
"Chris won't miss his friends much..." I said, fully knowing my son enjoyed Asgard more than the constricting environment on Midgard. Danielle knew it too. "As for how long... it depends on how fast you can learn to control your anger." I kissed her cheek. "And we know what a temper you have, love..."
"What are you talking about, I dont...." she stopped and stared at her hand.
"Yeah, sure you don't." I grinned at her. "But that's nothing compared to the idiocy you will have to deal with there."
"I deal with them everyday."
"Yes, but now you're a lot less tolerant."
She leaned back on the railing. "Fine..." she surrendered, then turned back to the view. "Can't say I regret it, look at this place."
"We could move here, you know."
"Thomas...." she giggled and I pulled her closer. "While I dont mind, I do wish you'd remember that you can talk to your father through realms and I can't."
"I remember."
The sun was out, and the city was pure gold. I'd seen that a million times and yet today, with Danielle next to me, it felt refreshing. Still holding her close to me, I kissed her neck, then turned her around. "We are not doing this on your balcony." she said.
"Right, because you're always so particular about where you make love to me."
"Loki, sarcasm!" she exclaimed. I grinned. "Never expected you..!"
"You learn.." I said.
"Never the less... we arent doing this here." she said again. She liked this topic.
"Again, as if you're so particular. We've done it in worse places."
"Well... thats not...." she turned pink. Strange for a Frost Giant. The thought made me laugh.
"Not funny..." she said. Oh yes, she could read my mind.
