Double Journey Chapter 2

Chapter 2

After Silver and Diamond returned from getting a water, they sat together, so Red came to sit by Amethyst. She was softly stroking the Zorua. Magma was looking at it happily, and he tried to put one of his booties on its paw, but Amethyst took it off. She looked up from the Pokemon and saw Silver and Diamond talking in a low whisper. Red sighed beside her. "What's going on with Silver?" He whispered in her ear. "He's talking a lot more."

Amethyst was about to respond when she heard a high pitched giggle from Diamond. When she looked, she saw Gold's sad face, and his downcast golden eyes. Silver kept looking at Amethyst out of the corner of her eyes.

"Things are getting tense in this cabin!" Green said slyly. Amethyst burst out laughing. Leave it to Green Oak. Diamond let out a little fake laugh, and then Gold spoke up. "Diamond, I need to talk to you,'' he said quietly.

"Dun dun dun," Green whispered in Amethyst's ear, and she burst out laughing again.

At this point the little Zorua had woken up, and was sitting on Amethyst's lap and wagging its tail. Amethyst giggled and it jumped off her lap and onto Magma, who yelped. Amethyst took that chance to capture it,(it worked) and let it out again. "I'm gonna call you Silvy," Amethyst said. Silver began to blush, and Red stifled a laugh. "Because of your silver eyes." Amethyst finished, and Silver sweatdropped. She looked up and glared at Silver, who winced. "Is there a problem?" She asked. Green started laughing at Silver, who threw his water bottle at Green. Amethyst turned away and started playing with her Pokemon.

Then Diamond and Gold entered, holding hands. Amethyst smirked at Diamond and gave Gold a thumbs up. Lyra giggled and moved over by Silver to hold his hand.

Them the overcom came on. "We have arrived in Littleroot Town, in Hoenn!"

Everybody began to get out, Magma sticking close to Amethyst and Silvy on her head. The group entered the station, but Amethyst tripped over Lyra's foot. "Oops," giggled Lyra, laughing and facing Silver. Silvy the Zorua fell off. She felt Red helping her up. "What the heck, Lyra?!" Diamond yelled. "Don't worry, diamond. Lyra and I were playing an unspoken game of Footsie."

Amethyst, upset and shaken, hugged Red little tighter.

"D'aaaaaawww." Diamond said, and everybody looked at her.

"Shut up, Diamond." Silver snapped.

"Make me," she said coolly.

"I will."

"I'd like to see you try."

"Oh I will try." Silver's eyes flashed, but Amethyst stepped in front of Diamond. "Silver, stop." Amethyst's violet eyes were pleading and they stared into Silver's.

She turned away when she saw Silver blushing. "My Pokémon and I need air. We're going for a flight." She threw out Lucky, Pearl, and Thunder. She got onto Lucky's head and next to her sat Thunder and Magma. Silvy sat in her lap. Pearl the Palkia nudged Amethyst and she knew what he wanted so she petted him. And off they went.
