Amethyst and Green brought the hot, Golden Pancakes out to the rest of the group. Amethyst's whole body was drooping, she and Arcanine had stayed up late last night after everyone went to bed. Green, however, was as cheerful as a Jigglypuff.

"Amethyst, hurry it up gurll!!!" Green laughed. Amethyst snorted.

.They served their pancakes and satn down. Amethyst didnt eat, she just layed her head on Magma and huffed. Magma looked up at her with concerned eyes and made a soft chirping sound, calling Crystal over.

"Amethyst, you don't look so good." Krys remarked.

"I don't feel so good, either." Amethyst sniffed, her purple eyes dim. Red walked over, leaving Copper open-mouthed in the middle of her 'speech.' He placed his hand on her forehead and carried her back up to the hotel room, putting her on the bed.

"Rest up," He said, letting her Arcanine out. Arcanine nuzzled up to her, and the rest was a blur as her eyes closed and she drifted into a dark sleep. Amethyst's eyes snapped open in a dark, distorted violet sky. A huge snakelike creature loomed over her, saliva dripping from two sharp fangs. Yellow eyes shone with malice. Amethyst glanced around, there was no one to save her, her hand reached for a Pokeball, maybe Salamence's, but when she threw it it opened up and it was empty.

"Foolish girl," The large, green snake hissed, circling around her. "I will mark the clock for your time of death," The snake grimaced, then dissolved.

Amethyst snapped into consciousness, feeling sweat on her face. Magma and Arcanine stood over her with worried looks on their faces. "Krys," Amethyst stuttered. "Get Krys, please." Magma leapt off the bed and dashed out the door. Arcanine gazed into her eyes, he knew that there was a deeper meaning to this dream, Arcanine could almost feel the dream, a special talent he had. His eyes glazed with fear, and averted to the window. Amethyst looked out. The sky was dark, so dark. Clouds so thick and wide that they covered Verdanturf for miles.

Then Krys dashed in, followed by Silver. "What happened??! Why are you covered in sweat?" The red headed trainer urgently asked. Just then Diamond burst in. Sweat drenched her face, she was pale, and her fists were clenched.

"He took him!!" Diamond screamed in a hoarse voice.

"Who?!" Krys whipped around, just as the rest of the group burst in. Gold raced to Diamond to wrap his arms around her, but she shoved him back. Crystal caught him and propped him upright, giving him a look of concern. Lynn was finally serious. "We need to get out of Verdanturf as soon as possible!" She said, letting out Flygon. Thunder rumbled in the distance, and suddenly the power went out. In the pale light of the lightning, Amethyst saw Arcanine and Diamond staring into eachother's eyes, a deep, desperate look in Arcanine's golden gaze.

The power flickered back on, and Amethyst felt all of her strength return to her in one huge jolt. The violet eyed trainer leapt out of bed and dashed to the door. "C'mon Diamond, we're going to look for Blaziken."
