"Shit," Said Amehyst from next to Garnet. He cast a concerned Gaze in her direction. "Are those the guys who said you weren't tough" his Ruby eyes burned.
"Yeah. Uh, they've got flowers?" Diamond phrased it like a question; but it was definately a statement.
Cobalt and Garnet glared.
Red and Gold glared back.
Finally, Red spoke up. "Who is that?" He said condescendingly.
"None of your concern," hissed back Amethyst.
"Pretty flowers," she continued. "Who're they for?"
"You." Responded Red.
"Well, I don't want them. Why don't you give them to Copper?" She unzipped her purse without breaking contact, and grabbed Arcanine's Pokéball.
"I don't like Copper. I like you." Red said. "Amethyst, you're the love of my life, I'm sorry for what I said!"
"I'm sorry Red. I am not a viable option for you anymore." Amethyst felt her heart breaking inside, but she knew she had to be strong for her own sake.
Beside her, Diamond slapped the roses out of Gold's hands.
"Oh, sorry. I thought you were tough enough to hold on to those." She said angrily.
Cobalt and Garnet exchanged glances. They knew what had to be done.
"Let's have a double battle! Amethyst and Diamond, versus...uh, you." Garnet said, glaring at Red.
Red smirked. "Neither of those little girls is tough enough to beat me."
"Are you sure about that?!" Cobalt hissed. They could take you any day. Each of you gets one Pokémon. Then we'll see."
"Agreed," said Gold, clenching his fist and staring at Cobalt.

"Go! Blaziken!" Shouted Diamond.
"Come out, Magma~" Sang Amethyst, and Magma loomed from behind her and stepped forward.
Confidence is key. Amethyst thought. A strong mind will put up a stronger and more...let's see, overwhelming, overpowering battle.
The air between Blaziken and Magma felt supercharged-Between Magma's snorts and Blaziken's claw sharpening, They were intimidating.
"Alright, Togebo!" Gold exclaimed, sending out his Togekiss.
"Snorlax, get out here!" Red commanded.
Garnet spoke. "There are no limits to this battle, except for one Pokémon each. The quickest Pokémon will get the first move!" He layed down the rules as Amethyst and Diamond, still in their dresses, kicked off their heels and began to ready themselves for the battle.
"Blaziken! Mach punch!"
"Togebo, Dazzling Gleam!"
The moves collided, even despite the type advantage, you could see that Blaziken was stronger. Mach punch slammed into Togebo, knocking it to the ground and giving extra damage.
"Magma! Let Snorlax move first!" Amethyst called. Magma nodded. He knew the strategy well.
"Snorlax! Slam!" Red yelled.
"Magma! Quick! Lava Plume!" A rupture in the ground formed behind Snorlax. Red smirked, thinking he had won.
"Faster! Rock smash!" Amethyst screamed again.
Magma slammed a flaming foot into Snorlax's gut, burning it and sending it flying into the rupture that had been made earlier. It was a knockout.
"Snorlax is unable to battle!" Garnet shouted.
"Alright, c'mon Blaziken! Flame wheel!" Diamond commanded. Togebo was preparing for Arial Ace.
"Magma! Body Slam!"
Magma rammed into Togebo, sending him down to Blaziken. Blaziken began to flame, and then struck Togebo where it hurt. Togebo withered to the ground, fainted.
"The girls win!!!!" Garnet and Cobalt couldn't contain their excitement. Garnet and Amethyst ran to eachother and hugged, and soon Cobalt and Diamond and Magma and Blaziken joined. Finally free. Finally happy.
Red and Gold were angry.
Red walked to Amethyst and Garnet and angrily confronted them.
"It's late. You should go home, uh, red eyes." He said.
"Amethyst. Listen, I've tried to reason, I want you back. And I know you still want me."
"That is--" amethyst began.
"Not true!" Garnet finished the sentence.
"Red, you need to see this. I am not looking for a relationship with you. And I want to be able to make my own decisions and have everyone accept it! So shut up and leave me alone!" Amethyst snapped at him, turning to face Garnet.
"We...We're through and that's that."
His world shattered as he reached after her.
She smacked him away.
"I am strong. I am a girl. I am not who I was when we met." She turned back to him, eyes burning. "I have changed for the better."
Red started after her. "I know-"
She interrupted him. "I'm not the ditzy girl you saved from the bullies- I'm not the girl who gloated over beating you on the mountain. But one thing never ever changed- I love my Pokémon, and they loved me. They pushed me up when I fell down, not you! They crafted me into who I am today, not you! I'll keep changing, but not you!! You never changed. You'll always be the-" she swallowed. "Sick person who told me I wasn't strong enough, the one who fought to keep me back when I wanted to go-"
"Amethyst, please----" Red choked. Tears streamed down the both of their faces.
"But I'm free. I'm strong. And you can't keep me from who I'm supposed to be."
She finished, turning her head away from him again. Everyone stood, shocked at what she said. Even Magma was frozen.
Then they all turned and re-entered the hotel. Everyone but Red and Gold. No goodbyes. Just separation.
