When Amethyst awoke, she felt bed all around her. It looked as though she was in an ambulance. She could see Typhlosion, Salamence and Arcanine hooked up to some devices that were giving them power. She heard steady beeping, and saw a sac of blood hooked up to a needle in her arm. Her wrist was wrapped in a black glove.

She heard Silver talking, shaking her, calling for help, but her vision was darkening. the last thing she heard was Silver crying and a long beep before her vision went black.

"Amethyst." A voice said. Amethyst looked up. A woman that looked just like her, but taller and more mature wearing a black leather outfit was speaking.

"You just died of blood loss and shock." She said with soft navy blue eyes.

"I did....?" Amethyst gasped.

The girl nodded. "But I can get you back. You were so young. You have a life ahead of you."

"I want to go back! I want to kick team Magma's butt!" Amethyst pleaded.

"Very well. But beware of the Pokémon of sky. It'll either cause your downfall or your success." The woman prophecized.

"Got it." Amethyst said. The woman closed her eyes. "I'm so proud of you. You've come so far. 'Course I died a little bit before your second birthday, but I see you from up here. You're the best granddaughter I could've asked for." Then she opened her eyes again. "Now let's send you back."

When Amethyst woke up, her eyes opened slowly and blurred. She could hear the roar of Pearl outside. She heard Lucky stomping. She could hear the beeping starting up again, feel the steady heartbeat against her chest.

She looked over and saw Magma looking straight at her, making little sounds to be let free of the device. Amethyst smiled weakly and held her arms out. Magma went wild, thrashing and shaking to be let out.

The nurse took off the device and Magma raced over to her, nuzzling her happily and wriggling. Amethyst couldn't really move one of her arms because of the needle stuck in it. Magma nuzzled her quickly. "Um...excuse me?" Amethyst asked the nurse.

"Yes, dear?" She replied.

"How...how are the rest of my pokemon?"

"Salamence is fine... But... But..."

"But what?" Amethyst said anxiously.

"Arcanine is in critical condition. He might pass away, just like you. You died for four days, but your pokemon knew something was up, and it guarded your body fiercely. No one was permitted to touch you." She smiled.

"A-Arcanine?" Amethyst stuttered, her throat dry.

"Ms. Blackthorn, please remain calm, we're doing all we can-" Nurse Joy gasped as Amethyst jerked her arm out of the hook and stumbled out of the bed. "What if all

You can do isn't enough? Arcanine only trusts me." She stated. He'll never let them heal him. When he's well enough he'll snap and try to find his way back to me...
