Amethyst made her way downstairs. She was wearing a red top and a white sparkly skirt. Amethyst never wore a skirt, but today she just did for some reason. When she walked into the lobby the whole group was on edge. Magma walked behind her, growling at anyone who stared. Amethyst sat alone, so Green slid into the empty seat across from her. "Hey A.A. Guess what? We got you a dress."
Amethysts eyes widened. "Eh-WHAT?!" She whimpered.
"We're hosting a dance." Green smirked. "To raise money for
our little Eevee friends."

Amethyst and Arcanine walked across the busy streets of Verdanturf Town. All of her other Pokemon had objected to shop with her except for him, so they were in their pokeballs. The skies were still cloudy, they were in the middle of a breach in the storm. The partners raced to the makeup store and dashed inside before the storm hit. The nice clerk and her Castform greeted them cheerfully. "Ah, Johto Champion Amethyst Blackthorn! Never thought to see you here...more like on the battlefield! But with this dance coming up, I suppose even your stunning face will need makeup. Oh! And who's this handsome guy?!" She looked up at Arcanine. "I have just the thing for you two! Come into my back room. I'm Anita by the way." She led the two back into a stark white room full of products of every color. "Wow." Was all Amethyst could utter. Anita brought out some blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and a bunch of rainbowy blush and golden glitter. She gave Amethyst the blush, eyeshadow, and mascara for herself, and beckoned Arcanine. "Okay, Arcanine, I am gonna make you so fabulous." Anita smiled and Castform floated into a somersault.

Amethyst walked out of the store with the most fabulous arcanine anyone had ever saw. The bottom of his tail was swept with a rainbow of blush that glittered everytime he moved. Golden sparkles reflected the suns light from all over him. Amethyst hugged her pokemon. He was so beautiful!!! Then she felt her phone vibrating. The brunette took the call. "Hello?" Amethyst asked.
"Get over here. I've got a chasing session." It was Diamond.
