Double Journey Chapter 25

Amethyst finally settled with her scalloped white short shorts, a loose navy tank top and a long silver heart pendant Green had given her. Her hair was out long and straightened, and she was wearing mascara and lipgloss. Magma crossed his arms and snorted as he had to hold her cosmetics bag.

Salamence, Latios and Arcanine were running all around the room, leaping across the beds and chairs. Nidoking was curled up on the floor.

Amethyst returned everyone except Magma. She opened the hotel room door and walked to the lobby. Silver gazed wide eyes and open mouthed as she walked in. Magma glowered at him. Hands off!
Silver returned to Harper and they kissed. Amerthyst revoltedly turned around to see Diamond and Ruby talking, and Gold looking jealous, eyes narrowed.
Red came up to her. "You look beautiful," He smiled, holding out his arm in a retro fashion. Amethyst giggled and took it, holding out her other arm. Green walked up and took it. This was a Kanto custom of theirs.

"Look at Lynn," Green whispered. "Somebody looks like she's ready for a
Date."

Lynn was wearing a short emerald green dress, and a golden necklace. Amethyst raced up to her. "Why so fancy?" She asked.

Lynn giggled. "I want to impress Steven," she smiled dashingly, eyes shining.

"Don't we all," Silver muttered, glaring at Lynn.

Lynn huffed, and darted out of the door. "Way to go, Silver. You sure hate Lynn from the looks of it." Amethyst snapped, letting all of her Pokemon out and leaping on Arcanine's back. The youthful Pokemon easily held her weight, and they took of to the movies.

Riding on Arcanine's back was just what the doctor ordered. Above her, Salamence and Latios swooped around. Magma jumped from Latios's back to Salamence's. Nidoking burrowed under the ground behind them, but was urging them on. "Let's Race!" Amethyst called, glad to be away from the drama of her group for at least a little bit. Salamence let out a cry of consent and Latios nodded. Arcanine smirked and leapt ahead, leaving trenches in the ground from his back paws. Amethyst wooped in joy, nestling her face into the large wolflike Pokemon's fur.

Below them, Nidoking burst out of the ground, sweeping Arcanine off of its feet. Arcanine somersaulted in the air and pushed off of Nidoking's head, and Amethyst out Nidoking back into its Pokéball for cheating. Arcanine sped up, as they reached the movie theater and pulled ahead, narrowly beating out Salamence. Lynn was already there, alongside Steven. Behind them, the rest of the group was arriving. Firstly, Diamond and Blaziken, who were both looking equally pissed off as they hopped off of Diamond's Dragonite. "What's wrong?" Amethyst called.

"Gold." Was all Diamond said before storming into the theater. Amethyst sighed. No sooner had she and her Pokemon escaped the drama then they were sucked back in.

Amethyst held Red's hand as they walked up to the concession's bar. The worker smiled. "Oh, it's the world's newest celebrity couple!" Silver snorted as he and Harper got their drinks, but Amethyst smiled and nodded.

"Champions from Johto and Kanto, you two can help yourselves to anything free of charge. You two have saved the world from unspeakable evil, so it's the least I can do."

Amethyst's eyes widened. "Oh I can't-"

Red cut her off. "Oh no, of course we'll pay..."

The worker got a hungry glimmer in her gaze. "Red, can I have your number? Or email? Or... even better, a romantic trip to the amusement park?" The worker began to climb over the bar, losing all control.

"No." Said Amethyst flatly, throwing her a fifty dollar bill and getting popcorn for the whole group. Red bought her a package of Sour Patch Pikachus, her favorite snack. As they walked off, they heard a loud commotion by the entrance to the movie room to Arons on the Loose.

Silver clutched two cokes and was being confronted by an angry Harper.

"Silver, I've told you about a hundred times that I hate coke! Buy me a Pepsi!" Harper whined.

Silver shot her a scathing glare. "Buy it yourself." He snarled, spinning around and handing the coke to Amethyst. "Here," he said. "I'll pay for refills if you need one." He pushed past, and went to get the tickets.

Harper walked slowly over until she was nose to nose with Amethyst. "Don't you dare get any ideas, short stuff." And with that, she dashed after Silver.
