Harry’s P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open as I awoke from my deep sleep. Someone was running their hands through my hair. I turned my head and looked up at Cali who was smiling down at me. Her hands were playing with my messy curls, pulling on them gently and running her hands through them. My head was in her lap. Slowly, I rolled myself onto my back so I was facing her better. A giggle escaped her lips before she brought them down to mine, kissing me softly. I kissed back. Our lips moved together in sync for a moment before she pulled away and smiled down at me again. A small smile tugged at her lips and I smiled back up at her.

“What time is it?” I asked, my voice rough.

“3:15,” she answered.

“How long have I been sleeping?” I asked.

“Four hours.” She answered. My eyes widened. Cali giggled again and rolled her eyes. “Hey, you need the sleep after last night.” I visibly cringed at the mentioning. Cali gave me an apologetic smile. “Sorry. Anyway, do you want something to eat?” She asked. I shook my head, not really in the mood to eat anything, and slowly pulled myself up. I felt Cali’s small hand on my back, pushing me up gently. Once I was sitting up properly I turned myself so I was facing forward and leaned back, closing my eyes. Something snuggles up next to me and I open my eyes, looking down to see Cali snuggled up next to me, her head resting on my shoulder. I caught a glimpse of the hand-shaped bruise on her cheek and frowned, biting my lip. I refuse to cry. Instead I let out a shaky breath making Cali look up at me with worry in her eyes. I’m guessing I by the way she’s looking at me, I look like I’m about to cry or something, because she says, “Hey, it’s not your fault.”

I nod, not really believing her, and bring her closer to me. Both of my arms around her. Her head rested on my shoulder once again. I kiss the top of her head gently. I saw a small smile on Cali’s lips and I smiled as well. My eyes fluttered shut, the feeling of sleep slowly taking over my body. I tried to fight it, but honestly, I was just too tired to care if I fell asleep again. I was exhausted. Sleep was all I really needed right now, I guess. Slowly, my body became numb before I felt myself fall asleep.

Cali’s P.O.V

I felt Harry’s grip on me loosen, so I looked up to see his eyes were closed. Soft snores were all I heard. He was sleeping. A small smile tugged at my lips, but then it turned into a frown. He’s been sleeping a lot today. I’m starting to worry about him. Last time when Louis was possessed, he barely slept, though it was because he wanted to be there when Alexis woke up. Now all Harry does is sleep. That’s not normal, at least I think that’s not normal. My small hands gently grabbed his arms. Carefully I removed them from around me. Luckily Harry didn’t wake up. My eyes skimmed the room. The window was open, revealing the now gray sky. The room was darker due to the lack of natural light. Faint ticks came from the clock that hung by the window. Everything around us was quiet, except for the faint snores from Harry and the ticking of the clock.

Zayn had gone upstairs about three hours ago, and he still hadn’t come down since. Louis and Niall had gone down to watch some soccer, or as they call it, football, on the TV in the basement. They didn’t want to wake Harry up with their loud cheers. Occasionally I would hear one of them cheer in victory or shout at one of the players, a few cuss words involved. I would silently chuckle. Boys. I had remained here in the living room with Harry the entire time, not wanting to leave him alone since we had been distant due to his possessing and because we probably won’t be seeing each other for months once the tour starts. Yes, he was sleeping so we couldn’t interact with each other, but who cares. I’ll take any time with him that I can get.

Slowly I stood up, rolling my shoulders back. I turned to Harry, who was still sitting up while in his slumber. Being careful not to disturb his sleep, I smoothly pushed him into a position where he was laying down on his side. Head rested on a couch cushion. Legs curled up on the couch since he was a bit big for it. My eyes skimmed the room for some kind of blanket, and my eyes focused on the red quilt that was sitting on the opposite couch. It had been neatly folded, and had obviously been done carefully as well. I had never seen that quilt before, so I was a little shocked to see it here. My socked feet dragged themselves across the carpeted floor, not making any type of noise that would awake Harry. My hands gripped the red quilt as I unfolded it. The red cotton was soft, and I quickly examined it some more.
