I finish packing my duffel bag, removing my hand from the zipper. It’s filled with a few useful guns, some extra silver bullets, and a few silver knifes. I’m dressed in all black, with a special belt that holds one gun full of silver bullets, one silver knife, and a flashlight with fresh batteries. I’m getting ready to check out the underground tunnels to see if there is any shape-shifter skins. The boys are back at their place, probably keeping a distance from Harry since he’s been acting so unpredictable lately. I wouldn’t want to be near him if I were the boys either, since this is so unlike him.
I pick up my iPhone, putting it on vibrate and shoving it in my coat pocket. I zip up my jacket, picking up my duffel bag and hurry over to the front door, my black converse squeaking on the floor. I grab my house keys and open the door, locking it behind me. I jog down the sidewalk in the dark of night, the only light coming from the street lamps. It’s around eleven at night right now, so no one is really out and about. It’s freezing outside, sending goose-bumps up and down my arms. My short breaths come out in little puffs of air. My long hair is tied up in a ponytail, swinging loosely behind me. It’s nice to run again now that my leg is healed.
I jog until I see an entrance into the underground tunnel. I drop my bag next to me on the cold cement ground, and crouch down to the ground, balancing on my toes a little. I grip the sides of the metal lid and pull as hard as I can, moving the lid over a little. After a few seconds I manage to get the lid out of the way, placing it next to the hole. I look down the pitch black hole, seeing nothing but darkness.
I pull out my flashlight, turning it on and looking down the hole, seeing some metal bars that form a latter. I grab my duffel bag, swinging it over my shoulder, and swing my feet over the edge of the hole. I turn around and start to climb down the latter in the hole, holding my flashlight in my mouth. The metal is cold against my bare hands, but I manage to make it all the way down to the bottom of the deep hole.
I finally reach the bottom of the hole, feeling ground beneath my feet. I hop down to the ground, the sound of my landing echoing through the dark tunnels. I take the flashlight out of my mouth and hold it in my left hand, gripping it tightly. I pull out my loaded gun and grip it tightly in my right hand, with my finger hovering over the trigger so I will be ready to shoot anyone or anything that comes and tries to attack me. I move my flashlight around the tunnel quickly. The walls are a round shape, making the tunnel seem like a gigantic tube. Although, that’s what tunnels kind of are – gigantic tubes.
I slowly start to move forward, the sounds of my footsteps echoing through the tunnels and bouncing off of the cement walls. I could hear the faint sound of water dripping from above and all around me. Other than my footsteps and the water dripping, everything was silent. I moved my flashlight around so I could see where I was going, and so I could see if I could find any skins from a shape-shifter. When a shape-shifter switches forms, they shed their skin. It’s quite disgusting actually. I have no idea why they shed skin instead of just morphing into a new form, they just do.
I turn many different corners, flashing my light everywhere, but finding no skins and nothing attacks me. I’m sort of glad that I didn’t find anything, because that might mean that Harry is not a shape-shifter or something. It doesn’t mean that it’s actually Harry though, it could be something else. Maybe he’s possessed…

I sigh as I walk around for a little longer, seeing nothing supernatural or suspicious. Nothing has attacked me either, which is pretty good. I guess Harry isn’t a shape-shifter, which is pretty good. I decide to turn back and head home, since I’ve probably scoured every inch of the underground tunnels. I turn on my heel and slowly start to walk back to the entrance, moving my flashlight everywhere so I can see where I’m going and for incase I actually missed something. I am very alert despite how tired and exhausted I am.
I don’t know how long it takes but I finally make it back to where I came in. I put my gun back in my belt and my flashlight in my mouth, and start to climb up the latter again. The metal is cold against my already freezing hands. I start to see the dim light coming from the streetlights, letting me know that I’m getting closer to the top. I soon make it to the top of the latter, and I climb out, my muscles trembling a little from all the climbing. I roll onto the ground and stand up quickly, not wanting to risk getting hit by a car. I pick up the metal lid from before, and put it back in it’s original place. I start to jog home, taking my phone out and checking the time. It’s two in the morning already!
I jog down the road for a few more minutes before I finally reach my house again. I take out my keys and unlock the door, stepping inside and shutting it behind me. I throw my keys on the coffee table and walk slowly over to my room. I throw my bag in the middle of the floor after turning on my bedroom light, and walk over to my private washroom. I turn on my bathroom light and shut my door behind me. I strip down and start a hot shower, stepping in and washing everything.
After a while I turn the shower off, stepping out and grabbing a warm towel to dry off. I wrap it around my body while brushing my wet hair out. I wrap another towel around my hair after brushing it out and walk back into my bedroom, deciding to throw my clothes in the hamper tomorrow morning. I walk back into my bedroom after shutting my bathroom light off and change into a pair of white pajama’s. I let my hair fall down and I put it in a bun.
I hop into my bed and turn the light off, snuggling deeper into my sheets. I will let the boys know that Harry is not a shape-shifter tomorrow.
