I handed each of them a gun – including Louis – and showed them how to load it again. Then I set up the targets and we started shooting. I had never really seen the boys – besides Louis – shoot a gun before. Even though I gave each of the boys a gun the night we went to the house they didn’t actually use them, so it didn’t really count. I showed them how to shoot, and they all began their shooting. I kept an eye on Louis because of what had happened yesterday with the gun thing. He got angrier every time he shot a bullet, but he also seemed as if he was in pain when he was shooting, and I don’t mean physically, I mean mentally. He looked like he had seen someone die or something. The mixed emotions in his expression are just complicated to explain.

I took a handgun for myself and walked in front of one of the targets so I could demonstrate how to shoot a gun, because they had never really seen me shoot a gun before – besides Louis. “So now that I’ve shown you all how to shoot a gun, I’m going to show you how to aim properly.” I started off, my gun by my side. I pointed my gun up at the target. “When you’re shooting a gun, always be sure to have a good position. If you’re standing you should at least have your feet shoulder width apart and one leg forward to help you balance. The more you shoot the more natural it will become. Then you point your gun at the target and shoot.” I pointed my gun at my target and shot at it five times, hitting it in the middle each time. All the boys jumped back a little and covered their ears because of the loud noise. I chuckled lightly at their reaction and put my gun down at my side again. “Don’t worry, you get used to the noise.”

They all turned to their targets, pointed their guns up at them, got in a ready position, then shot their bullets, and kept missing the target by a landslide – except Louis of course. It took Zayn the longest to get his bullet to even hit the target because he was still weak from the night. Niall seemed to be doing alright once he got the bullets to hit the target, and Liam was doing the best out of the three of them.

Louis seemed a bit angry once again, and I could tell because he was gripping the gun in his hand a little too tightly in my liking. I watched as every time he shot a bullet he seemed to get more pissed once again – but it didn’t seem as bad as yesterday. I don’t think that the other boys noticed because they were just too focused on trying to get their bullets to actually hit the target. Zayn would wince every time he shot the gun and he would stumble back from the recoil. He is using a handgun so he can still use his cane while shooting his gun with the other hand. He almost dropped his cane a few times, but held onto it tightly.

At one point Louis seemed a bit out of it. He kept staring out into the distance for a few seconds before shooting again. At one point he just stopped shooting and put his gun down. Everyone else stopped shooting and raised an eyebrow at him.

“Louis, what are you looking at?” Liam asked with a concerned tone. Louis didn’t look at an of us, he just kept staring off into the forest.

“Harry…” Louis trailed off. His eyes widened and he dropped his gun, running off to the forest.

We all dropped our guns and started to run after him. Well, Zayn just walked fast because it was hard for him to run. Even though I was in the same condition as Zayn I still ran as fast as I could – which was pretty fast considering my injured leg – and followed Louis into the forest. I could faintly hear Louis yelling Harry’s name. What the heck was going on with this guy? I didn’t see Harry anywhere.

We all kept running for about two minutes until we found Louis in a clearing of the forest, searching around with a panicked expression. He looked confused as well. I walked up behind him and placed a hand gently on his shoulder. He jumped slightly and spun around to face me.

“Louis, why were you running into the forest?” I asked, slightly worried and confused.

“I swear I saw Harry standing by a tree before running off!” he breathed out, obviously out of breath from running. “I don’t see him anymore.” He said sadly. I nodded, a frown showing on my face.
