Missionary of the Future

The future was tomorrow,
But now it's come today.
I'll finish the paperwork, pack my bags,
Soon I'll be on my way.

The future was tomorrow,
But now it has arrived.
I'm ready to leave my family
To bring others to Christ.

The future is a scary place
Full of the unknown.
But I'll face all my fears head on,
I'll invite everyone home.

Home to the presence of our heavenly parents,
Home back by their side.
Home is where the heart is
And where our family resides.

So I can't think of a better home
Than surrounded by those I love.
Those who I knew in my mortal life
And those who were already above.

And this is the truth that I will share
Day by day by day.
I'm ready to share the gospel.
I'm ready to be on my way.
