I Used To Write Wonderful Poetry

I used to write wonderful poetry.
My words used to flow.
The imagery was tantalizing,
The emotions were raw and beautiful.
I used to write wonderful poetry.
Before I became afraid.
Scared of putting my words down permanently.
Seeing the trauma I have to face.
I used to write wonderful poetry.
I wrote it every day.
Then I stopped confiding in people
And my poetry faded away.
