My Scream Into the Void

I'm a Fixer

I can't help it, I like to fix
I like to set things right
I like things to be perfect
Seen in a flawless light
I like people to be happy
To be emotionally aware
To look for the good in others
And always find it there
I point them toward their goal
And hope that they keep straight
But because I am no god
It doesn't work that way
They'll stumble, bump, and thrash
They'll walk a different way
And people do get hurt
But I guess that's reality
