Why Did You Marry Me?

I feel a little frustrated and lost.
We got married, but at what cost?
Did you really want me for me
Or did you just want a wife for eternity?
You see me as nothing, a burden, a child.
I don't have ambition, and that drives you wild.
You don't like my body, my passions, my health.
You wanted to marry a girl with a career and wealth.
You want me to change all that makes me, me.
That's the only thing that will make you happy.
And I understand, no truly, I do.
That doesn't mean it hurts any less from you.
