My Scream Into the Void

Lend Me Strength

I no longer have the strength to make it through the day.
God please lend me the energy to make it the whole way.
I'm afraid I might collapse, or at the very least retreat
Into the person that I don't want to be.
If I cry today may it be tears of joy,
And not tears of sorrow put there by a boy.
Heavenly Father, I don't know what to do.
I'm stuck between the ones I love and don't know what to choose.
