This is sound advice.
When I imagine my future
I don't have to think twice.
It's you that I keep picturing
Standing by my side.
Helping me to raise our kids,
And in whom I'd confide.
In this life of mine I know
That I'm a college grad.
And I think if we wait to have kids till then
That we'll both be glad.
Honestly the only thing
That makes me pause and think
Is if you're a picky eater,
Is there anything I should bother making?
Or are we going to eat dinner separately?
I know you like to "cook" on your own.
I don't want that to be a point of contention
In our newlywed home.
