Reunion

I enter the cage
And the animals growl.
They crow, caw, squeal, and yowl.
I don't have any new friends, or food.
I don't have new toys or news.
They want a piece of something that I don't have to give.
This is such a crazy way to live.
I'm trapped and I just want to flee.
My family makes up a menagerie.
In a place dedicated to family and fun
I thought this was a family reunion.
