Theodore the Brave

A dark and stormy night is how this tale was begun
When a boy turned his back on the place that he came from
No longer did he have a home or a family
And so the boy ran off to be a pirate on the sea
He worked his way from kitchen boy to sailor well enough
But becoming captain proved to be quite tough
Eventually he did lead the crew to mutiny
The title of captain was passed to him when the last fell into the sea
From there he made promises where he always followed through
And earned the respect of everyone who came to be his crew
He was the finest pirate captain of his day and age
And earned the loving title of Theodore the Brave
