Adulting Sucks

Why do people grow up?
What is the appeal?
My responsibilities have yet to feel real.
And consequences for actions really suck to live through.
Especially when it feels like you never know what to do.
I'm going to scream!!!
I know that lessons always need to be learned,
And life will give you scars that you had to earn.
And roadblocks are just a part of the course,
But I scream and yell and shout until my throat is going hoarse.
Life is cruel.
Life is mean.
Growing up is not meant for me.
