Dear Storyteller,
You've made me laugh so hard I cry.
I have listened to your tales a thousand times.
No one can tell them quite like you do.
No one's a better storyteller than you.
You dreamt up Toby the Rat, and all of his friends.
And now they're my job to attend.
Even after hearing the same joke a hundred times
I always laugh at the punch lines.
You never tell your stories the same way twice.
And your stories teach me to be wise.
I share your stories with all I know,
But I can't seem to make them glow.
When you talk, you light up like the sun.
And everyone you talk to feels like they've won.
Master Storyteller, you've changed many lives.
Your stories are truly a delight.
I bake to make people smile,
You accomplish the same with much more style.
Your words lend people wings to fly.
Your stories make them open their eyes.
There's no denying, you're a master weaver of tales.
And your wittiness is the wind in their sails.
Master Storyteller, teach me your craft.
I want to spin tales when people ask.
I look up to you because you're funny and kind.
You've good taste in food and a strong mind.
I love you to the ends of the earth.
Love, a young storytelling girl.
