Talent Show

I was supposed to meet Luke back stage for the Talent Show because we was on in 5 minutes. I was really worried because what if he wasn't here and we couldn't go. We would have to give up the 1,000 dollar prize!!!

I texted and called him a million times but still no answer. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I screamed when I turned around. But it was just Luke.

"Luke you almost scared the TALENT out of me!" I said giving him a little push.

"Wow that's a new one." Luke talking about what I said.

"Where have you been? I texted you and I called but you didn't-" I said but he out his finger over my mouth.

"Look, I'm sorry. Jessie kept telling me there was no reason for me to be nervous even though I wasnt." Luke said.

"That's ok. At least you're here now we are almost on." I said looking to see the performer singing. She was good. I hope we have a chance against here.

"Next will be the dance styles of Luke and Val after two minutes break." the announcer said.

"Ok we're on in two minutes. let warm up with some stretches." Luke said.

We stretched for one minute.

"One minute left. Let's use it for some motivational talk." I said.

"Ok. Umm...I know we both can do this. We've practiced until our entire body hurt. Especially you will be good with that solo. Just imagine its a practice with nobody there except for you and me. But make sure that practice is good! Just breathe" Luke said.

I toke 2 good breaths. "Here we go with dance stylings of Luke and Val.

We walked on stage. Both in position. The music started and I can tell me and Luke were already dancing. I was nervous but I hided it with a smile like I was a natural.

A lot of people seemed to like it. I heard one of them say that I can dance. Here comes my solo. I toke another breath and went to work. I was strutting my stuff with my moves. Everybody was cheering. Then me an Luke ended the dance with the fabulous move. Fabulous? I do spend to much time with Emma.

The music stopped and all I heard was clapping and cheering. I looked at Luke and he was doing his goofy bow.

We went backstage.

"You were great! They loved you out there!" Luke said.

"I couldn't have done it without you, though." I said.

"We just had to come I first place for how awesome we were!" Luke said bragging.

All we had to do now was wait for the last couple of acts an they will announce the third, second, and first place winners.
