Nue Houjuu has joined the Akatsuki and Naruto Uzumaki promised to bring back Sasuke Uchiha, leaving with one of the Legendary Sannin, Jiraiya, so he could train his hardest. Sakura Haruno is being trained by the Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade.
As for Iri Satori and Maria Asanaki, they are training their hardest to keep their promises they made to Nue after her funeral. No one in the Leaf Village knows that Nue is alive. Everyone thinks she's dead. As Nue gets older, she also grows stronger.
She vows she will stop at nothing until Orochimaru is dead. And if anyone stands in her way, she will not hesitate to kill them. Her memories have returned and she has returned to her cold, serious, and somewhat bipolar personality. What will Nue become of after training with Akatsuki?
