"Yes, you will be traveling by carriage to the Ice Realm. It's a six days journey." My father informed me with some worry. I looked to my mother, she looked worried too."I'll be fine. Why are you two so worried? You will be with me the whole time." I reassured them, weirdly getting worried myself.
"Actually. . ." My mother hummed as I turned my attention to her. "We will be be traveling three days before you, starting tomorrow."
"Tomorrow!" I cried quite loudly.
"Yes, tomorrow, Nashi. What's wrong with that? We have been traveling many times before for many reasons." My father said sternly.
"But never before I would leave the castle!" I sternly replied back in a louder volume.
Father didn't say anything. He just turned around and swirled his mustache like he always did when he was angry or stressed.
I sat back down. I knew I wouldn't get anything else passed him if he was doing that.
"You will be fine, my dear. I know you will. Your carriage will be guarded by many of our men along the journey so you will always be safe. Plus, you can bring two guests with you if you'd like," My mother said reassuringly.
"But I don't know anyone else except the people that tend to me," I told her.
"Exactly. You are bound to like one of them, right?" My Mother chirped with another one of her kindly smiles.
"Okay, I'll go get ready. Thank you, mother, for the tea," I said about to exit the study. "Father," I said, addressing him.
He turn and nodded his head, still looking worried. I turned and walked out the door into the hall.
"A ball," I whispered, walking down the hall looking down at my feet. I smiled and became excited.
I race down the corridor until I reached the stairs. I sat in the long handle bar and slid down it until jumping off when I reached the bottom.
"Woo hoo!" I called out as I hurried down to the kitchen to tell Mira the news.
Upon entering the kitchen, I was welcomed with many wonderful smells. Smells of soup and fresh bread just taken out of the oven.
I looked around trying to see if I could spot Mira. There was many people there preparing for lunch. Pots and pans were being rattled and spoons were being scraped against bowls.
I made my way through the crowded of chefs until I get to the back were all the food was being layed out and prepared.
"Mira!" I cheered when I finally found her checking the food before it would be sent out.
"Princess Nashi! What are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you for a minute. Follow me." I grabbed her hand and directed her out into the hall where it was more quiet.
"Mira, did you here? I will be going to a ball!" I said jumping up and down.
"Really?" She gasped and joined me in my excited out burst.
"I need your help, Mira. The ball is in the ice realm in the royal castle." I informed her with some worry.
"The Ice Realm! Well that a six days journey from here!" She said in alarm.
"Yes and I want you to come with me. Mother and father said I could bring two guests to come with me on my journey to the Ice Kingdom and I want you to be one of them."
"Me? But, mi'lady, why me? There will be plenty of maids there to help you with your daily routine. Surely you don't need me." She said sweetly.
"No, Mira! I want you to be my friend and companion on this journey. Much like you already treat me everyday, I want to repay you for your kindness. And what would life be like with out you Mira! Horrible, that's what I say, horrible. So please come with me!" I begged her.
She smiled and gave me a gentle hug.
"Alright. When is our journey?""In three days."
"Then let's go get ready!" She said, grabbing my hand and heading towards my chambers.
