>Storm's continued<

It was getting near the end of our little adventure. I wasn't bother by the cold be it was clear that Rin and Nashi were.

Both of them not living in cold climates their whole lives effected them in the present. The outside has never been cold to me but for theses two... they were shivering and wind kissed.

The three of us reacted the castle steps and turned to each other.

"I guess this is where our journey ends." Rin said in an almost upset way.

"Yes, It was a pleaser meeting you Rin." Chirped Nashi with a beautiful smile.

"No, it was more of a pleaser meeting you my'lady. Thank you for honoring us with your presence."
Rin then stepped up to the princess, took her hand, and gently kisses the back of it.

"O-oh yes. I-I hope to have more t-time to get t-to know you better in the future." The princess told my step-brother.
I couldn't tell if she was stuttering and pink for the cold or because of the action Rin just performed. Most likely both.

"As do I."

The princess then turned to me, smiled and bowed, then left to enter the castle.
I began to make my way up the steps as well but was stopped by a Rin.

"No, unfortunately I need you to stay out here." He said more coldly.
That's the Rin I know and...love?
Sure.

"Why? Am I needed in anyway? I was expecting you to go running to the warmest thing to you."

He laughed and grasped both of my shoulders, "If only my dear Storm. But what I need at the moment is knowledge."

"And I have it." I added, knowing where this was going.

"Yes." He said letting go and beginning to walk to the right of the staircase.

I lightly sighed and followed him.
We began to make our way around the castle walk way. The snow crunched under our feet as we slowly pressed on in silence.

"She is one interesting young women." Rin spoke. "Prettiest maiden I have probable seen. You're lucky she is yours."

"She's not mine." I mumbled in monotone.

"Oh that's right, you want her to be yours. I guess I got them mixed up then." He chuckled with a smirk.

If only he knew.

"Tell me what I have missed then. I'm all ears." Rin finally piped up.

"It's a long story." I mumbled, walking beside him.

"Then begin." He said with determination in his voice.

"Every well." I hummed, already exhausted just thinking about having to explain everything to him.

It took a good amount of time to make sure I told Rin everything, but I eventually finished. Surprisingly he did interject at all.
I know Rin is a talker but he remain attentive while I spoke. He was patient as I took a moment to recall the right details and when I paused at the parts I wished not to repeat.
