Off into the dark night, the only real light was the stars in the heavens.

"This way, Princess." Rosemary whispered as we scampered through the side court yard.

We traveled several feet from the exit, running to a carriage that I still couldn't see yet.

Rosemary looked tired yet determined. She was clearly strong and very good under preasure. I wonder who told her to gather me and bring me out here.

I, on the other hand, was tired, cold, sweaty, and confused. All this running around in the castle had really worn me down. My dancing shoes are now killing me, and this dress has become a real burden. I see why Rosemary took hers off.

"We are here."

I look up to see a dark black carriage with no light coming from it. I could tell there was a driver but I couldn't make out who they were.

"Get in Princess, we need to leave."

I turn to my red haired escort in unsureity. But from what I could see in this unlit space, she nodded in confidence, reassuring I would be just fine.

I turned, I clenched the skirt of my dress, and climbed into the mysterious black vehicle.

The two of us sat down in the leather seated carriage awaiting for our travels to bring.

Rosemary was sitting against the front wall of the carriage. She knocked on it twice, probably signaling to the driver to go.

We heard a 'hi-ya' called out from the outside of the carriage and the crack of a whip. This was followed by neighing and frantic horse hooves against stone.

"I will explain everything to you in a minute, but first you have to change." Rosemary said, handing me a set of clothes in the darkness of the wagon.

"Very well, it's good I had plenty of practice changing in a carriage on the way here to the kingdom." I said to brighten the stress of the situation before taking the clothes and being to unchange out of my dirty red dress.

I quickly changed into the clothes I was given. It was a simple light cascade-green dress that went just below the knees in length. A brown leather jacket and boots with long black wool stockings that covered all of the skin on my legs.

I quickly undid my hair and pulled it up into a quick pony tail. I wasn't to good at hair since Mira always did mine for me so a pony tail was probably the best I could do.

I sat down and looked down at my attire in its fullness. It's like they were trying to make me look like an average villager.

"You done?" Rosemary asked, still looking out the window.

"Yes." I replied, relaxing in my seat, folding my arms around me for heat.

"That's good, I was getting tried of looking out the window at empty streets." She mumbled with a quick laugh.
"You're also going to need this." Rosemary said handing me an weird looking hat.

The hat was strange looking trapper hat, designed to keep your head and ears warm.

"Why?" I questioned, looking from the hat to her.

"It's to cover your hair." She said sternly.

"My hair? Why cover my hair?" I asked in confusion.

"Anyone could tell that you are a foreigner by just the color of your hair. You need to cover it so you can blend in easier."

"If you say so, Rosemary." I ended, taking the hat from her and putting it on.

The headpiece was comfortable and warm, it covered all of my hair like it was supposed. All I had to do was stuff my pony tail in it so it didn't peek out from the back.

"Perfect." Rosemary chirped tucking in one last bang of mine.

"Now can you explain everything to me?" I wined.

"Yes, now I'll tell you everything."
