We rushed out the doors and through the halls.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we hurried out of the crowds and down a silent hall. I assumed we were going to exit a different way than everyone else.

"Away." The vibrant ginger hair woman said calmly.

I didn't ask anymore question for a while. We hurried around corners passing by the occasional frantic soldier or rushing couple.

"Let's stop here." The mysterious red dressed women panted, stopping in the middle of a long hall.

I was tired too. We probably have been dashing through the hall for a good five minutes, it was good to have a chance to rest.

I looked at my mysterious escort, she began to strip down her elegant ball-wear, revealing her first layer of clothing.

Under her dress she was wearing a simple dark harbour, short sleeve top with brown riding trousers. She pulled her hair out of a bun and letting it fall revealing a braid.

After seeing her without her masquerade mask, I could tell she was much younger than I first assumed. She looked to be about my age, just a few units taller than me.

"The name's Rosemary by the way." She said finishing her wardrobe change.

"Oh. . . nice to meet you, Rosemary." I chirped.

Rosemary slipped on some brown leather boots she had attached to the inside of her dress, which I thought was a smart idea.

"Ready?" She said with a smirk, looking at me with her bright, hazel eyes.

"Ready." I said with a brief exhale of determination and weariness.

I quickly took off my shoes, holding them in my hands, and followed Rosemary in a jog.

The both of us made it through the castle without seeing any strange looking men.
The men from the ball didn't look really. . . official. They didn't wear anything that really stood out from the average villager from the surrounding city.

Coats, boots, hats, everything you would see on a normal man walking down the road. I guess a few of the men looked stronger and more determined then others, but I still couldn't figure out there intentions for showing up tonight.

I recalled everything I had seen previously. Screaming and panick, Mira being swept away, my. . . parents.

I still don't know if they are okay.

Rosemary said they were going to be fine but. . . does she know for sure?

"Here is where we will exit." Rosemary said pointing at a small wooden door.

The two of us were now standing in the royal kitchen. No one was in here working anymore, they must have turned in for the night.

As Rosemary reached for the door handle I asked,

"Wha-. . .where are we going? Why are we leaving the castle?"

She stopped and sighed.

"I was instructed to bring you here. We have to leave for your safety." She said with much conviction.

"Instucted? By who?"

"He will be revealed to you shortly."

"He?" I repeated as The vibrant ginger opened the door.

A cool breeze came rushing in as the door slowly creaked open.
Before we left Rosemary, she said one last thing that made me have more confidence in what was happening.

"Princess Nashi, I will explain everything when we get in the carriage."

I nodded with determination, quickly slipping my shoes back on.
I felt that this would be the best way to get to the bottom of all the events that have been occurring. Plus Rosemary had some kind of a. . . trusty feel about her, but I couldn't put my finger on. When she talks about my safety she seems to really care.

Rosemary smirked and held out her hand.
I excepted her offer, grabbed hold, . . .

and we ran.
