~Nashi's POV~"I'm here because of you." He answered.
The forest floor had a glow of blue from the little light that could reflect off of the snow.
Branches on trees clattered every so often when a breeze crept on though."Because of me? If you knew I was here, why didn't you come earlier!" I croaked out, trying to stay strong.
"After the ball, when I heard you went missing, I search high and low for you. When I finally discovered your location I was going to come and get you but the opportunity never arose."
"So you were just going to take me away?" I questioned sternly.
"Yeah, I was..."
"Well you didn't need to." I barked.
Jude flashed me a confused look.
I understood why, I looked like a mess after what I had been though. If he did get me before Wendy came into the picture....none of this wound have ever happened."Being in that small wooden house for a couple of days, sleeping on the floor, training every day, those were the best days of my life.
I was free with that group. They were kind and so welcoming. All of us were together, just enjoying each others company."My mind reflected on all the memories I shared with those five.
The times where Nova made us the most wonderful home cooked meals. She always made the most yummiest thing, better then anything I have ever had in the castle.
When Rosemary cared for me just like a sister — spending time to train me. A sister that was patient and helped me grow as a person. Even if I only had a short time with her.The time when Gale and I had a lengthy conversation on books. The two of us were able to connect though something we love. My memories of me locked in my castle with hundreds of books, the closest thing I could get to adventure, and I was able to find true joy in it through Gale.
Or the laughs I shared with Reiki who was like a brother to me. He always lightened any conversations and made people laugh without even trying. Reiki's outgoing attitude is what I loved the most.I can't wait to hear Reiki's laugh again.
To hear any of their laughs again. But then Storm....the person....that I shared the least memories with, made the ones that I hold the closest.
The time where I fell onto him on the ice during my practice battle with him. As well as the time when we all as a group went ice skating.
Storm was quite amazing at it.....
but he still stayed at my clumsy side the whole time.
Making sure I didn't fall.I enjoyed even the simplest moments I had with my prince.
The sweet winks of time I got to look into his charming sky blue eyes peering into my copper ones.
His orbs full of life and understanding.
They never cease to lack in getting my attention. All I hope after this is over that Storm will still
have those mesmerizing orbs of his.
I only wish that his eyes will still give off innocence yet remorse like they always do."Nashi....." Jude began in a serious-sad tone.
"I know you are angry....I know you don't like the idea that I am arranged to marry Storm."
I interrupted sternly.Jude didn't finish his phrase. My brother stopped — going silent.
"But you shouldn't be."
"And why not?" My brother asked, clenching his fists a bit.
"It's because.....because....
I love Storm!"
