~Storm's Continued~"Ah, I see someone has stepped out of the shadows." Wendy hummed.
I whipped out my gun and pointed it at her.
"Get away from her now." I barked.
The other women I saw through the window was my Mother. I found her.....but in this mess.
She looked thin and so tired. Tears were streaming down her face."Oh no no no Storm my dear. You see, you can't kill me. If you do, I'll have my friend here kill the love of your life." Wendy teased, pointing to....Nashi.
Nashi was to the right of where my Mother was tied up. Both had Ropes around their necks but Nashi had a man I couldn't identify holding a gun up to her head as well.
"Nashi." I said in heavy sorrow.
"Sto- mmmm!" Nashi began to say before the man behind her tied a cloth around over my princess' mouth so she couldn't speak.
Two of the most important people in my life are in front of me, their life's hanging from a thread.
"Looks like you have a choice to make Storm." The evil bluette said, an eerie shadow to my dear Mother.
"Your Mother, or the girl."I was frozen in place, gun pointed past my Mother's head and mine at a figure who I thought wouldn't be a stranger to me.
But I don't know the women that has spoken to me today. The kind caring Wendy I knew long ago was far gone."Don't do this Wendy." I croaked, tears threatened to leave my blue orbs.
"Don't be allies with a kingdom that has a murderer as a princess." Wendy barked.
"She is not a murderer!"
"THEN WHERE IS MY ROMEO!?!?" Wendy screeched.
Everyone went silent. The only sound that could be heard was the wind in the trees and the creaking of the wood structure under some of our feet.
"This girl..." Wendy began with tears in her eyes, "...was the cause....of why my dear Romeo....is dead. He....is gone....because of her. I will never be able.... to see him again.....because of this ignorant Princess."
Through all of this we all stayed quiet as we listened to Wendy's cries. But I didn't want to hear it anymore.
"Nashi didn't kill my uncle." I growled.
"We all did."All that were present turned to me in confusion.
"What?" Wendy spat out.
"It was every single one of our faults that my uncle still isn't standing with us today."
"What are you saying boy! Shut up!" Cried the broken bluette.
"No! Uncle Romeo is dead because we were never really there for him!
My father gave him a colony of his own, pushing him away from his life and his kingdom. My whole family knew he had problems such a drinking but we never helped. I have known, since I was a young, that my uncle had these negative addictions and yet I never said one thing to help him!
My uncle had the wrong friends. Friends that didn't help with his problem, only made it worse. That fateful night in the fire kingdom, where a lost young girl only wanted help for anywhere she could get it happened to find my uncle in a saloon. When he died the next morning we hadn't lost him in that moment. We lost him when we decided to not be the best friends, family, loved ones we could."Nobody had anything to say to that....
so I continued."My Uncle was long gone before he even stepped foot into the fire realm.
I loved my uncle, but apparently I didn't love him as much as you Wendy. You brought my uncle joy in his last few months of life. He actually began to smile again — know the true meanings in life. But I'm afraid you came to late to fix Romeo until he was fully alive again.
I sorry you came in too late Wendy. But thank you for the kindness you spread then."Wendy didn't say anything to this she just began to cry immensely.
"Thank you for those good times back then....but now.... what are you doing? Romeo would never want this!"
