                           ~Norman's POV~
[Before the ball; after riding with Nashi]

"All right then, I trust that you'll treat this horse well. See you tonight!" I told the princess as I left for the castle to continue my work.

I hope Lord Natsu won't be angry with me if he sees me gone for this long.
I know I told Miss Nashi that I was coming here as a guest with her but, still feeling obligated to do my job, I still performed my daily task none the less.

Hurrying into the castle I rushed into the servant quarters and quickly changed into my work clothes.

"You better hurry or you are going to be late." Chirped a voice from behind me.

I turned to see Levy, the librarian of the Ice Castle and somewhat my room mate.

When it was too late for her to get home to her husband or the weather was too bad for traveling she had to stay over night in the castle.
I am extremely thankful that she was willing to share a room with me. All the other servant quarters were filled and all that was left was the extra bed Levy was willing to lend me.

"Yeah I know." I told her straightening the clothes I was wearing.

"Norman, here. Let me help you." Levy said with a small giggle.

I didn't know what she thought was so amusing but I soon discover what was when my roommate came over and fixed the buttons
On my shirt.
Apparently I button them up skipping a few.

"There you go." She said with a sweet smile.

"T-thank you." I chirped.

"Now go Norman, be quick."

"Right." I grabbed my hat and left out the door.

I rushed down the hall, passing many others in the same boat as me, but with different positions.
I'm thankful that I was going past all these people, to meet with Lord Natsu, not looking like a clown. Levy made sure I didn't.

I swear Levy has to be a mother. She is too kind not to be.
I don't know much about her besides her position as librarian at the castle but I know she has a husband.
Apparently he is a black Smith in the Ice City just below the castle.

I finally made it to the third floor of the castle to my King's chambers.

I lightly knocked on the door then heard,
"Enter."

Upon opening the door I see Lord Natsu being fitted for his attire for the day and Queen Lucy sitting on the other side of the room drinking tea.

"Good morning, Norman." The queen said lightly.

"G-Good morning Lady Lucy." I stuttered, bowing low as I spoke.

She flashed me a smile and nodded her head.
Lady Lucy was always so kind to me. Always giving me a chance to do my best.

"Norman, I have a serious question." The king said with a stern expression as he turned to face me.

"Y-Yes"

"Have you seen the tea lady?! She hasn't come back yet and I'm worried that...."
