No More

                           ~Nova's POV~

This was looking bad. But I wasn't going to tell him that.

The bleeding in Reiki's leg has subdued a little but it was escaping at a dangerous rate.
He was getting paler as time passed.

I felt useless to help him.
I had to change my jacket being used as a bandage to my shirt.

I was now in front of a half consious dude with only a thin skin undershirt.

With cheeks red, tightening my shirt around Reiki's leg, my body soon began to react negatively with the condition I was putting it through. 

Every limb I had shook profusely to the cold — goosebumps forming on my skin.

"Oh Nova t-thank you, I-I feel much better." He said weakly.

I looked up from his injury to his face.
Wow Reiki, wow.
His expression held smugness, a smirk planted on his face.

"Shut up Reiki. Keep your eyes to yourself." I said feeling heat travel to my cheeks, looking away from him.

"Ok ok, but really Nova....t-tha-..." Reiki cut off.

I turned my full attention back on his face.
He....he was out.

"Reiki?" I said patting his cheek gently.
No responce.

"Reiki, stop messing with me. It's not funny." I said with a weak anger.
Still no responce. Still no words. Still no smile.

"Reiki?! Reiki?
REIKI!!"

                          ~Storm's POV~

Gale and Rose must have heard it too because they flinched to the sound where ever it was coming from.
Was that....Nova?

I decided who ever it was or who ever it is I was going to head in that direction. It was my best bet seeing that I didn't really know where I was going in the first place.

I swiftly lead my to comrades down a long hallway. I hope this is the way.

Sure enough, we met life outside of our trio. To our luck, Nova and Reiki.
Or at least....it was luck in the beginning.
Now....,now it's just horror.

I could tell Nova was trying to hold bad tears. Our friend Reiki was leaning against the wall....not responding to her cry.

When Rose saw this she quickly went over to him. Gale and I did as well, but he having cheeks of scarlet because of Nova's clothing conditions.

"Reiki?" Rose whispered, touching our injured friend softly.
Tears had already begun to leave her eyes.

Nobody wanted to check his pulse, to see if he was alive, I could tell they didn't.

Gale and I just stood back in horror at what was going on on the ground.
But we had to know Reiki's condition if we were going to help him.

Moving over to the girls I knelt don't next to our red haired comrade.
I looked into Nova's teary eyes, then into Rose. Both nodded and I slowly took off my black glove.

Fingers now exposed to the cold air I reached over to Reiki's head. Placing to fingers in the crevice of his neck I felt for veins pumping blood.

But no sign of motion came in contact with my fingers.

I moved to his wrist to feel for the veins pumping there.
Still, no motion of blood travel.

Standing up I moved away from the scene and looked down at my motionless friend.

"From all the blood he lost in this good amount of time. And.....the climate conditions here,.....Reiki..." I said, not finishing because, it was too painful to say.

But everyone already knew, they didn't need time too finish.

"NO!" Rose called out, crying even more than before.

She grabbed lifeless Reiki and pulled him into a hug. Nova knelt next to her, both of them crying too.

I could hear Gale sniffling to my left, he's probably trying to hold back tears to stay strong.

But me...I wasn't crying.
All of this....was angering.

This was all Wendy's fault! If she hadn't taken Nashi from us then this wouldn't have happened!

I whipped out my gun and got it ready to fire. I leaped towards the door and yelled,
"I'll kill her!" and left.
