Storm was able to catch my hands before I fell. Pulling me back up to my original standing position.

"Now that you've got the standing down do you want to try moving?" Storm said gently.

I nervously sighed but nodded in response to his question.
Storm told a step out further onto the ice. Still holding his hands firmly I glided along with him.

"That's it!" He said pacing himself.

I giggled at my fast progress and Storm's excitement. Though stumbling a few times here and there, I was having fun none the less.

I was soon able to stand on my own and somewhat glide, but that didn't stop Storm for still holding my hand.

"Ok Storm, I've held you back long enough. Now go and show me what you can do." I said wriggling my hand out of his grip.

"Very well my dear." He said with a smirk.

He skated away from me and into the center of the ice.
The group also turned their attention to Storm, slowly making their way to the edge of the ice. Giving Storm enough space to do his thing.

We all watched as Storm started off with simply gliding back and forth.
Eventually gaining a good amount of speed, is where it got interesting.

It's hard to explain exactly what happened really. I don't know much about skating and it all went by so fast that even if I did it wouldn't know.

After gaining enough momentum Storm did all kinds of things. Flips and spins, gliding and more! It was all pretty jaw dropping.

The Prince finally came to a quick stop in front of me, ice flew as he halted.

"Impressive!" I said smirking, eyes still in ah.

"Thanks." He said holding out his hand again.

I kindly excepted his offer, now holding his warm hand.

"Are you ready to do the same thing?"

"What?! No, of course not!" I said nudging my shoulder against his, followed by me quickly gaining back my balance.

"Ok ok." Storm said between laughs.

Skating was fun but we had to get back to Fairy Tail. The sun was low, only showing half its shape to our eyes.

The group seem to have had a wonderful time. I mostly stood with Storm the whole evening, I never really mastered the balancing bit yet.
Well, I also really enjoyed his company.

The two of us have really grown close. The 'dear' thing was confusing but I didn't think much of it.
That's until I remembered something.

Flashback to the ball....

Prince Storm pointed out all the young maidens wearing red dresses to me. I was confused and startled about the matter, it was a good thing Storm explained why.

"They are all the same because of a ridiculous game my Father put together. He thought that if I were to find my future wife I had to figure out which one was you. He wanted to see...well for example if I were to find and meet one of the other girls dressed like you, finding her to be the one I liked most then I won't love the real Princess. So then it wouldn't be love."

Future wife?
What did he mean by that?

"Nashi?" A familiar voice said beside me.

Rosemary was waving her hand slowly in front of my face. I must have been lost in my many thoughts.

"Oh sorry." I said awkwardly, breaking out of my trance.

"Get your shoes on we are about to head back down to Fairy Tail." She said moving down closer to the road.

"Right." I said reaching down and untying my skates.

I quickly slipped on my cold leather boots and joined the others waiting for me near the road.

I guess I'll have to think more about the ball later.
