~Nashi's POV~I was cold.
It's so cold out here.
I didn't want to think anymore. I couldn't think about what just happened beside me.
But..... the way she looked at Storm.
Her smile......her warmth.I wish I could have truly got to meet Lady Juvia.
It must have been the most terrifying thing to witness if you did known her.
I would know because...... that was Storm.
He ran up onto the stage, holding her in her last moments.
But this instance had as much hope as someone trying to hold sand in the sea of life.I wonder what she told him with her last breath.
Storm was humble in his mother's last moments....until she left.
That is when he lost it.Watching Storm scream to the heavens like it was its fault made me grieve more than ever before.
I was thankful that Wendy's men stopped after all of this. I'm glad they knew when to quit.
When the royal soldiers came in to gather them up none tried to fight back. They went into the wagons calming, excepting their fate.Surprisingly seeing my Fathers face it didn't bring me as much relief as I thought it would.
He was late.
If all of them had come earlier....
this wouldn't have happened.
"Wow. You haven't seen me for years and all you have to spout is demands! You're definitely a king then!" My brother barked behind me to my father.
Jude had removed the rope from around my neck but he still didn't put down his weapon as my father requested.
I wish they didn't have to reunite like this.
I had to do something about what was going on. I need to be useful. I need to be the rescuer instead of the weak princess being saved by the prince like all of the classic fairy tales.
This hasn't been a fairy tale.
The closest thing I have had to a fairy tale in my life was the happy moments I have had in fairy tail.
Those where the joyous days of my life.
All the simple...fun times we had together... were my favorite.I could stand to be here anymore. No more standing around....letting things happen.
If I couldn't go back to the times in Fairy Tail....then I couldn't be here.
I began to fight my way out of Jude's grip.
I will not be under someone's control so easily.I thrashed around by it did nothing.
I had to do more."Calm down Nashi!" Jude demanded, holding tighter to the ropes.
My mind traveled back to all the hours Rosemary spent with me, teaching me how to fight.
But she never taught me anything about protecting myself against a gun.
But I had to do something.I stopped thrashing and decided what I was going to do.
With my right foot I scooped it behind Jude's right leg. I kick my right leg so it would make my brother lose his balance.
Once it did turned with my shoulder I shoved him aside.
I was free — out of his clutches.
But what next?
The only thing I could think of was....
run.
I scurried across the stage and jumped off of it.
I hit the ground a little hard but not enough to stop me.
Tired, panting, weak....but I kept going.I sprinted until I was in the woods.
"Nashi!" Someone cried out to me.
It was Jude. He followed me.
Not turning to look at him, I ventured further into the forest.
The sun was over the horizon but the thickness of the trees still made it dark.Where am I going?
