A flood of light fell on me as I slowly opened the dining room door.

The chandeliers were now lit and the table full of food. The royals were already sitting at the far end of the table, talking amongst themselves.

I made my way to the table, trying to figure out were I was suppose to sit. The Ice King, Lord Gray, sat at the head of the table, my Father on his left, and my Mother on my Fathers left. But there were four people at the table.
On Lord Gray's right there was a beautiful women with long blue hair and navy eyes.

"Nashi, you will be sitting next to Lady Juvia." My mother told me as I reached the table.

"Who?" I asked, was she talking about the bluette?

My Father gestured to the women on Lord Gray's right.
I was correct, it was the blue haired women.

"Yes, this is my wife, Juvia." Gray stated, looking at the beautiful women next to him.

"Oh yes, it a pleasure to finally meet you." I said with a bow.

"And you." She said in a gentle voice.

I made my way to the seat next to Lady Juvia and sat down. We gathered our food and started to eat.

"I apologize for my son's absence. He is out traveling and should return soon." Gray said breaking the silence, besides the occasional fork to plate collision.

"Son?" I said facing him.

I didn't know he had a son. A prince of our neighboring kingdom and I didn't even know he existed.

"Yes, my Son." Gray repeated.

"I didn't know you had a son. How old is he like 10?" I questioned, taking another bite.

"No Nashi, he is 17, just a few months older than you." My Father informed me.

I looked up with him in surprise, still with food in my mouth but not chewing it out of shock.

I quickly came back to reality, choking a bit, I hurried and chewed-swallowed my food.

"And his name?" I asked in a more raspy voice.

"Storm." Lady Juvia answered.

I drank some of my water to clear my throat.
"Oh, how nice." I said somewhat awkwardly.
"Well it's like they say, you learn something new everyday."

My mother giggled at my comment. I smiled and went back to eating.

"Do you think the Prince will be back for the Ball tomorrow evening?" My father asked Lord Gray in a somewhat curious tone.

"Yes, he will be returning tomorrow morning." Lord Gray replied while pouring more wine in his cup.

The meal continued on with more small talk about kingdoms and the plans for tomorrow evening. We we all finished eating dinner and dessert, said our good nights, and made our way back to our chambers.

"Good night Mother, Good night Father, and thank you Your Highnesses for the dinner." I said standing up out of my chair.

"Good night Nashi, sleep well." My mother said.

"Good night, my dear." My Father said before I turned to leave.

I reacted the door and flashed one last smile before opening the door and walking out into the hall.

"Good night." I whispered as the door closed shut.

The hall was dark and silent as I walked through. Finally reaching my room I opened the door to see Mira already there, smiling.

"How was dinner?" She asked, moving over to the dresser to get my night clothes.

"It was good, I learned that there is a Prince of this kingdom." I told let her as I began to take of my shoes.

"Oh yes, Storm was it?"

"Yeah."

This ended out simple night conversation, seeing that Mira and I were a bit tired ourselves I didn't elaborate on this evening's dinner.
I got into my night gown and got into bed.

"Good night, Miss Nashi." Mira hummed before leaving the room.

"Good night."
