                       ~Rosemary's POV~

Gale and I proceeded with caution this moment forward. He was right about the voices, I could hear them too. They were getting closer.

"What was happening at the warehouse entrance?" A low male voice said from a few shelfs over.

"Oh, a group of brats were trying to enter the warehouse thinking they could save the hostages." Another man said.

Are they talking about Storm's group?
Did they make it into the building?
Why didn't they go through the roof?
I hope they are alright.

"Did they get into the building?" The first man asked.

"Not sure, they might have. We all know Bill's group is weaker than the rest, being filled with young-ins' and all."

"Yeah."

I looked at Gale to see if he was paying attention to these two men talk. So far we couldn't see them but we were close enough to get word on what they were saying.

Gale looked serious, more determined than he was before.
I watched as he reached to his belt, slowly pulling out his gun.
Was he going to go after them?

My partner's gun was clicked back and ready to shoot. But if he did. . . the whole building would hear. This room was large, the echo of a gun would surely be heard for a great distance.

Before Gale could do anything, I grabbed the barrel of his gun. It seemed like the only way I could get his attention and stop him at the same time.

After I did this he looked at me in an angry confusion.
I gently shook my head. This was not the way to go.
My partner lowered his gun and looked to me for what I had in mind.

I got up and slowly snuck up to where the two men were still talking away. They seem to have been taking a break, way from all the commotion outside.
They weren't a real threat at all.

They were not armed but they looked strong. Them being much bigger than me I proceeded with caution.
The two of them were facing away from me making it easier for me in what I was planning to do.

I quickly and quietly snuck up behind them, rose my sword, and WHACK!
Then then the second. . . WHACK!

I hit the two guys on the side of the head with the bottom handle of my sword.
They both fell on the ground, both K.O.ed from my hit.

"Yeah!" I loudly whispered in triumph, putting my sword back in its sheath.

"Nicely done, Rose." Gale muttered, moving to my position.

"Thanks." I said placing my hands on my hips.

"Now to find the exit."

"Right."

The stairwell down to the second floor was more to the back of the building, a little always from where we were.

"Did you think the group those two were talking about was Storm's?" I asked Gale as we made our way to the exit.

"Most likely." He said in response.

~Nashi's POV~

People passing outside the room began to pace themselves, being louder than they were before.
What was going on?
Is somebody coming for Lady Juvia?

I still rested, leaning up against the wall as my only support.

I always wanted to go out and see the world, have adventures, but not. . . not like this.
This was the negative side that all the main characters in my favorite books went through. The side that I myself never wanted to go through.

Except in all the stories, they ended with a happily ever after; overcoming the bad things that happened to them.

But this isn't a Fairy Tale. This is real life.
There will be no prince to swoop to my rescue. . .
to save me.
