>Nashi's POV<

"Hello Miss Nashi." Mira hummed sweetly with a light smile.

I was frozen there.
I didn't know what to say.
I didn't know what to think.

Mira. . .she. . .I forgot.

"Come in and sit Miss Nashi, let's get you ready for bed." My maid chirped.

But then the life came back to my kind and I ran. I ran right up to Mira and pulled her into a tight hug.

"It's nice to see you too." She laughed, holding me in a long needed embrace.
"Now sit down, it's getting late."

She stood in front of me and offered me her hand. I lightly took it and Mira lead me to a cushioned bench stool near the fire.

Quietly, Mira undid my hair and took of my jewelry. All this was done gently with her soft warm hands.
When she began to take off my make-up, I took a moment to look at her face. She was focused on wiping up all the make-up so she didn't look back into my eyes.
The light of the fire behind her made the sides of her face glow.
How could I have forgot about Mira? Once I got back to the castle, I never considered Mira's absence. I don't know why it didn't come to me when I was helped by Asuka.

"I'm sorry, Mira." I whispered, feeling upset.

"Why Princess?" My maid asked.

"I forgot about...you." I said sorrowfully.

The silver haired maiden's lips formed a warm smile, light tears filling her eyes.
"But I'm the one that left you."

She stood up and walked over to the large white vanity that was to my left. Mira placed the damp cloth down and wiped a few of her tears away.

"I'm the one that should be sorry." She whispered, still facing away from me.

Mira then went over to the bed behind me and came back to me with a white night gown in her arms.

"Here, Princess." She said, handing it to me.

"Thank you." I hummed, accepting the gown.

I walked into the closet to change. It was dark but I could see enough from the fire light in the other room creeping under the door.

Once I had it on, though, I stopped in the dark closet.

"Mira?" I asked from the other side of the door.

"Yes, Miss Nashi? Do you need something?"

"No it's just that. . . I'm engaged."

My bed chambers went silent for a few moments.
That is when I decided to go out and see Mira.

I opened the door and stepped into the fire lit room.
My maid was a few feet from the door but she now stood in front of me.

"To Storm?" She said humbly.

I nodded and she smiled.

"I knew you would like him!" Mira came over and pulled me into a hug.
"Are you happy with that, Nashi?"

"Yes. Very much."
