Hiiiiii!
So a new chapter! Probably you weren't expecting me to upload this quickly huh? But I am glad to say that my writing flow has come back. I have been having many writer's blocks, and also school assignments didn't help. But I haven't had many assignmente this week so I guess that helped. This chapter's song COULD be "Honest", but I don't think it is quite right. There are some few parts that fit, but the majority not really. But I think you'll get the reason behind the title by the end of this chapter.
This chapter was awkward to write. I'll just say it. But I had to bring this stuff up. Shawn and Sadie's age gap have to give them some sort of problems right? I wanted to explain more of why Sadie is being like this, why she is so harsh on herself, but I think you will understand later into this book.
I also just added a cast to the story, so if you would like to check it out... I am very much aware that the celebrities I chose for these characters are much older (in majority), but this story will have a have many jumps in time which will make them have the age of the actors now a days. If you have any suggestions for characters I left out, I would love to know! I don't have any for Sadie neither I think I will find, but I imagine her kind of like the girl in the picture back in the second chapter.
Thank you so much for 10.2K reads!! I can't believe it guys, thank you so so so so so much. 😱😆😊This is so unreal!
I hope you like this chapter! Just please take in acount the fact that I wrote this late at night so it might not be my best. But I will edit it later on.
Good reading! :)
Xxx,
Sara

I was still reflecting on both Shawn's and Aaliyah's words and what the hell had just happened when I hear my name."Sadie, come here." Shawn calls me with a smile on his face over to where he and Larissa were, gesturing his head. I walk over neevously, not knowing what to do once again. Aaliyah comes right after me, which was somewhat comforting.
"Oh, you must be Sadie! Nice to meet you." Larissa says with a smile on her face as I stand next to Shawn, and I couldn't be more confused. She honestly seemed happy to meet me, and I started to wonder wether I had imagined the previous event. But when I met her eyes, I could see that the smile wasn't genuine at all. There were some silent words thrown at me through this glance that told me everything. Aaliyah was right.
I felt so tiny right now, like I was the unwanted one here, the one missing out. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't muster any sort of words. I didn't want to be rude to her, or either smile at her, as both of that would certainly be fake. And I hated to have to put up with acts. I had only resorted to that when I didn't want people to worry about me, because people shouldn't waste their time on worrying about someone like me.
But then when I felt Shawn's arm snake around my waist, I remembered how much this meant to him. His family and friends meant everything to him, and I am sure he wanted me and his friends to get along as much as I want, putting aside the fact that Larissa doesn't see Shawn only as a friend.
I hated being fake, but I plastered the best smile I could come up with on my face for Shawn's sake. "Nice to meet you too." I say, managing to meet her grimacing eyes once again.
"Lari, do you want to stay over for dinner? We weren't expecting one more person but I am pretty sure there is enough food." Mrs. Mendes asks her, and Larissa nods, smiling sweetly. "I would love that, thank you." I got surprised with the way she managed to go from "Back off my man" to "I'm a sweet girl who would be a perfect wife for your son" so quickly. How could she do that?
