Chapter 41

All thirteen of you are walking down to the train station.

You're all in kind of mini groups.
Mikey, Jake and Lacey are talking to each other. Zoe, Joe, Caspar, Pj and Chris are with each other. You're with Holly and Charlotte. Phil's with Dan.

You had all chosen to take a more private route considering Dan's still shirtless and Phil's only wearing Caspar's jacket and his sonic boxers.

"That Dan guy's proper fit, isn't he?" Holly says.

You glance back at Dan, then look at Phil.
He's alright.
But you like Phil much more.

"Eh." You shrug.

"You're just saying that cause you love Phil!" Holly laughs.

"Do not!" You push her lightly.

"What do you think, Charlotte?" Holly asks.

You look over at Charlotte, who's looking down at her feet and clutching onto her grey sweater.

"Don't know." She shrugs.

"Are you people blind? I'm going to go ask Lacey!" Holly rushes over to Lacey.

Charlotte glances at her and sighs.

"What's wrong?" You ask her.

"It's nothing."

You stop her, making the two of you a bit behind the group.

"Tell me."

"It's just... I think Holly likes Dan..."

"And that's bad because...?"

Charlotte sighs and shakes her head.

"Charlotte..."

She looks back up at Holly, who's whispering with Lacey, both of them occasionally looking at Dan.
You see a tear run down Charlotte's face.

"Do you... Like Holly?"

Charlotte looks bad at you.

"What? No! That's stupid!"

You put your hands on your hips as she looks back over a Holly. She turns her head back to you.

"Okay, maybe a little..." Charlotte sniffles. "But it doesn't matter. She likes Dan."

You pull her into a hug.

"She barely knows Dan, Charlotte." You pull away. "How long have you liked her?"

"Ever since I met her at the start of academy."

"She needs to know."

"No she doesn't."

"Yes she does. If you don't tell her, you'll regret it. She could like you too."

"But, what if she rejects me?"

"But what if she feels the same way?"

"No. That will never happen. She could reject me and I'll loose one of the best friendships I've ever had. She could hate me."

"Or, she could feel the same way."

With that, you run to catch up with the group.

You sit beside Phil and Charlotte on the train.

Dan's whispering things to Phil, causing both of them to laugh, while Charlotte is looking out the window silently.
In front of you, Zoe, Caspar, Joe, Mikey and Jake are all talking to each other.
Behind you, Pj and Chris are talking across from Holly and Lacey.

"Charlotte. Tell her." You whisper to Charlotte.

"No." She whispers back.

"Yes."

"You can't make me. I'm my own person Y/N. Leave me alone."

You sigh and stand up.
You squeeze past Dan and Phil and go to sit beside Holly and Lacey.

"Hi guys." You sit between them. "What're we talking about?"

"Dan."

"What about him?"

"He's so hot." Holly giggles.

"And mysterious." Lacey adds.

You groan.

"Can we talk about something else?" You ask.

"Hey, you're the one who joined in this conversation!" Holly says.

You look around for someone else to talk to. Zoe, Caspar, Joe, Mikey and Jake's area is already too cramped.
You could talk to Chris and Pj, but you don't want to interrupt anything.
You high-key ship them.

You sigh and sit at the back of the carriage.
Your group for some reason are the only people on this carriage.
You lean your head against the window and watch Phil talking to Dan.
You can't help but feel a hint of jealousy.

You look out the window for a few minutes before someone taps your shoulder.

"Y/N, right?" Dan sits beside you.

"Yeah."

"Phil's told me so much about you."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Don't tell him I said this, but he talks about you all the time."

You feel a blush creeping onto your cheeks.

"You like him back, don't you?" Dan asks.

"Well... Wait, what do you mean back?" You quickly look at Dan.

"I mean... Uh..." Dan shifts awkwardly.

"Dan... Does Phil like me?"

"I-Uh-Uh..."

"Dan..."

"Okay.. Yeah. Don't tell him I told you!"

"I won't."

"I also know you like him back."

I'm making a Phan story with MaddiePerry2555

We don't know when we're publishing it or even the name yet, but that's just something for y'all to read, when it comes out.
I'm pretty excited for it.

Also, I've taught myself how to play the start of 'Welcome To The Black Parade' on the piano without even having to listen to it.
I'm proud of myself.
It doesn't seem like that much of an accomplishment, I know, but I've wanted to learn how to play the piano for ages and I just got a keyboard set up in my hallway.
Although, I'm not allowed to get proper lessons. If I wanted to get actual lessons, I would have to quit my singing lessons, which I really enjoy.
I've also learned how to play the start of 'Cancer' 'This Is Gospel' and 'All I want for Christmas is you'
