Chapter 20: war and trouble

Winter's POV

Iyak lang ako ng iyak sa kwarto ko hanggang maghapon. I just can't help it. Masakit rin kaso yung kamay ko then yung likod ko.

I stood up and I looked my reflection at the mirror. Why do I even crying like a baby? Maybe because... I'm hurt?

Tiningnan ko yung kamay ko and I gulped when I saw a bruise. Hinawakan ko yung pasa at napahiyaw ako sa sobrang sakit. I bit my lower lip. This pain is bearable basta hindi muna hahawakan.

I flinched when someone knocked the door. "Winter, why are you shouting?" I heard Autumn's voice. Dumating na pala sila. It's almost six.

I comb my hair and wiped my tears away before I opened the door. I saw Autumn's worried face. "Why are you shouting?" she asked again. I get conscious when she looked at me from head to toe. "And why are you look like a....... trash? Saan kaba galing? Muka kang batang pulubi. And why your eyes is like that? Bakit ka may eyebags? Tell me, are you taking drugs?"

"Autumn!" I said. I rolled my eyes heavenward. "I'm not taking drugs!"

"Alright, alright. I'm just joking." She said then laugh. Summer and Spring came near us..

"Anong nangyari sayo, Winter? Ba't ganyan itsura mo? Umiyak kaba?" Nanlako yung mata ko sa sinabi ni Summer. Okay, she's a good observer. Napatigil naman sa pagtawa si Autumn then looked at me intently.

"You cried?" Tanong nya.

I gasped. "N-no. Why would I cry?"

"Because you missed us!" Spring answered. Autumn hit him on the head.

"We're serious." Autumn said to Spring. Spring just pout. Autumn looked at me again. "You cried, didn't you? Bakit ka umiyak? Did someone hurt you?"

They looked at me. "Yaaah! Stop looking at me like that! Geez, You're scaring me!" I said.

"Alam mo sagutin mo na lang yung tanong namin." Lumapit si Summer sakin, napaatras naman ako hanggang sa mabunggo yung kamay ko sa corner ng cabinet then...

"OUCH!" Napahiyaw na ako sa sakit. Autunn and Spring came near us. Hinawakan ko yung kamay ko na may pasa. Summer looked my hand. Agad ko 'tong tinago.

"What's that?" Summer asked me. I looked at her then I shaked my head.

"Anong nangyari?" Spring and Autumn asked in unison.

Summer looked at me. Geez, she's so scary whem she's serious. "She's hiding something from her hand." Summer said.  I close my eyes in disbelief. Hwag naman sana silang paranoid!

Dumilat ako at they still looking at me. "What's with your hand, Winter? Do you have magic now?" Spring said and once again she hit by not Autumn but Summer in the head.

She pouted again. "You're not respecting your sister."

"You're our older sister but you're not acting like one. You're pouting like you're a child." Summer rolled her eyes.

I'm about to laugh when Autumn grabbed my hand and there....... they saw the bruise.

"Where did it came from? Who did this to you? What the hell, Winter!" Autumn said. Napangiwi ako ng higpitan nya yung hawak sa kamay ko.
