Chapter 55: Rooftop and the art of letting go

Ice's POV

"You dad is calling, Ice." I rolled my eyes as I ignored what Serena said. My cellphone is ringing but I don't want to bother myself for answering that. No way.

"Hindi mo ba sasagutin?" She asked again. I ignored her, again. I'm not gonna talk to that woman. I don't wanna waste my time. We're here at the hotel's room. And unluckily, Serena is with me in this room. Even if I don't want to, she will banging the hell out of me.

She sighed and get my phone. She and answered it. I don't want to listen to their nonsense conversation, so I went out. I continue to walk when I saw Winter talking to Kian.

My eyebrow furrowed as I looked at them. They talking seriously to each other. And listening to other's conversation is not my style. I continued again my walk when I heard Kian talked.

"Winter.... pwede ba kitang ligawan?"

We're gathered here at the big cottage which is already reserved for us. The girls are laughing while telling an epic story of them. While the boys together with me are just enjoying the view from here to the beach infront of us.

I saw how Winter clung her arms on Kian's. And how Kian enjoying it, too. Tss. I don't think Winter will allow him to court her. Definitely not. I know Winter. Yes, because she's my BESTFRIEND.

"Jealous?" I shot a deathglare to Raim who's just behind me. He chuckled. "You're jealous on how Winter clung her arms on Kian's arms." He patted my back.

"I don't know what's your talking about, Rain." I said. Rain just shook his head. I raise my eyebrow. Tss. Nonsense. I looked again at Winter and Kian but I never saw them. Where are they?

"Ice c'mon! Let's swim!" Serena grabbed my hand. I stood up. I sighed in relief when I saw Winter and Kian, swimming. Kian is topless and yes, he have this perfect body of a guy. Winter is wearing a short shorts and a white sando. It's okay for me if she's wearing a sando but a short shorts? Is she didn't aware of the guys who are currently looking at her?

"Ice! Let's swim!" Serena shouted. I followed her. She's near with Winter and Kian.

"Kian.. I don't know how to swim." Winter said as he holds Kian's shoulder for support. If you want to, I can teach you. Tss.

"Don't worry. I'll teach you." I just rolled my eyes and ignored Kian said. How I wish he didn't know how to swim.

"Ice.." Serena came near me and wrapped her arms around mine. "I don't know how to swim, too." She pouted. And oh! I wanna punch you, right now!

I'm about to shout at her when I saw on my peripheral view that Winter is looking at us. I smiled. I think I have a better plan for this.

I smiled. "Sure, Hon. C'mon. I'll teach you." I saw how Serena shocked when I said hon. I just smiled at her. I looked at Winter, she's glaring. I smirked. What now, BESTFRIEND?

I started to teach Serena. And swear! Winter is glaring right here and there everytime I utter the word hon.

"Hon, I love you." Out of nowhere, Serena said that. Winter and Kian are looking at us.
