Black Friday

Halo still has no words and neither do I.
      "Chloe is pregnant!" Emily yells.
      "Yeah, yeah." I say.  Halo still has her mouth open.
     "Say something." Chloe says.
     "How far?" Halo asks.
"3 months."
"Oh my gosh."
"I wanted to find out the gender before but your birthday was to soon. I wanted to do it for your birthday."
"Oh my gosh."
"Wow! When did you even..?" I ask.
"That information will stay classified." Chloe says. We laugh.
"Chloe is pregnant!" Emily says again.
"Chloe is going to have a baby!" Andrew yells at her. We laugh at them still in shock. Blake is only about 6 months old that means she will be just over a year when this baby is born.
"What do you guys want?" I ask.
"We don't care." Chloe says.
"Okay."
"We already have a boy and a girl so we just don't care as long as the baby is happy and healthy."
"I agree." Zac says.
"Daddy!" Zane says.
"What?"
"Thirsty."
"What do you say?"
"Please."
"Thank you." He takes Zane to the kitchen and gets him something to drink. Soon they all go home. We are still shocked that Chloe is pregnant again. Thanksgiving is in 5 days and the kids don't have school until next Monday.
It is Sunday so they have all week off and Thanksgiving is on Thursday. We are going to Anna's as normal and we are all meeting there. She is very excited and has nearly everything for the meal.
The kids are very excited for it like always. We go to bed and we also have no work. I start kissing her neck.
"I said it was a given." I whisper into her ear. She smiles at me. It will be a very long night.
*Thanksgiving*
We wake up and get dressed. We go to Anna's house and we were the first ones. The kids play and have fun. Winter is coming soon. Andrew need new snow boots. Emily needs snow pants and they both need coats. Halo and I sit and talk.
"I was thinking about something." Halo says.
"What's that?" I ask her.
"I was thinking that I want to get my belly button pierced."
"Why?"
"I don't know I was just thinking about it. What do you think?"
"If it makes you happy then do it. I'm not going to stop you."
"Okay."
"I wouldn't care if you came home with it pierced. You look beautiful no matter what."
"Thank you." I kiss her cheek and Zac walks in with Blake in her car seat and Chloe behind him. She had Zane resting on the small bump in her stomach. Zane comes running to me and jumps on my lap. Anna was cooking. Halo is taking Emily Black Friday shopping. We are all going actually.
"I have made up my mind." Halo says.
"What's that?" I ask.
"I will do it tomorrow."
"Power to ya girlfriend."
"Yeah!" I laugh at her and the kids go outside to play. I go into the kitchen.
"How long have you been up?" I ask her.
"Who says I went to bed?" She looks at me. I roll my eyes.
"Anna you are nuts."
"Maybe."
"Hey Mom I'm getting my belly button pierced what do you think?" Halo asks Anna.
"What ever makes you happy honey." She says.
"Good I was going to do it anyway."
"Yeah I know. I still love ya."
"Let me help you." I say.
"No get out."
"Let me help you."
"Fine mash the potatoes."
"Thank you." She rolls her eyes and hands me the masher. I mash them up and place them in a bowl. She has been cooking for two days. Zac and Halo get the table out of the basement.
We start putting food on it around 2:00. We set the table and sit down at the table. We say a prayer. We all say what we are thankful for.
"I am thankful for the doctors, police men and women, and the people in the army that can't be with their families." Emily says.
"I am thankful for Anna cooking for us every year." Andrew says.
"I am thankful for the amazing family that I have."
"I am thankful that all my children are happy and healthy." Chloe says.
"I am thankful that I have the people I have around me." I say.
"I am thankful I have everything I could ever want and need." Halo says.
"I am thankful that I have a house full of people to make dinner for." We all start dishing up our food. Chloe feeds Blake and Zac gets Andrew a plate of food. I help the kids get food. We all get a plate of food and eat. We talk and laugh.
When we are done eating we clean up. We get the pie out and all have some pie. When we are all full to are content we just relax. The kids play and dance. When they start getting sleepy and going into a food coma we leave. We put them to bed. Halo and I shower. We lay down.
"Are you scared?" I ask her.
"No not really."
"Oh Zac and I talked a little and we are going to a special store tomorrow."
"Oh boy. We all have to take are own cars."
"I know, let's take yours. We will meet at a store. We can go to the mall first. We will make it work."
"Yeah we always do."
"I should text the goon."
"Yeah well we will be busy tomorrow so I am going to sleep."
"Okay." We eventually go to sleep and wake up early the next morning. We get the kids ready and I text Chloe. We are all going to the mall. The girls are going on their own and the boys on their own.
We will take Blake just because Chloe is pregnant and we don't want a lot of stress on her. We meet at the mall and split up. We get a shopping cart. We have put Blake on the child seat and there was a car on it for Andrew and Zane to ride in. We go the first store one for the girls. It was Victoria Secret.
"Girls wear this?" Andrew asks.
"Yup."
"Girls are weird."
"Well they think boys are stupid so we both lose."
"Dude look. This is right up Halo's alley." Zac says.
"Have you been looking at her bras?" I ask.
"No I just saw the pattern. You can have her bras." We laugh a little. We pick out stuff for both of them.
"Will Chloe wear that stuff?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"Okay." We check out and go to Pink. We get the girls some stuff. There were things in Emily's size we got her some leggings, a shirt, a sweater, and some boy shorts underwear. We also got her some spandex.
We get Halo and Chloe some stuff to. We get them headbands as well. We go the game store next.
"Dude I spent all year putting aside money for this." Zac says.
"You and me both dude." We start laughing. We get some video games and Andrew some supplies. We don't go Black Friday shopping often but it isn't for Christmas it is just to spoil our loved ones.
The mall we go to has everything and we put the bags in the cart. Next we go to bath and body works. We get the girls some perfume and body wash. We go to Build-A-Bear and let the kids build a bear.
I text Halo and tell her to take Emily. We get one for Blake to. She tells us she liked it with a smile so big it showed the tooth she has cutting in. They get an outfit and we put them in the cart. We all save up in cash all year long. We each have a lot of money to spend just on this.
We get lunch with our credit cards. We go to the store that Zac and I love going to. Andrew and Zane help us pick things out. Zac feeds Blake a bottle when she gets fussy. We pay for it and go to Target. We get the kids some things and then we go to another store.
We go to the Apple Store and I get a new phone charger and Halo a new phone case. She needs one. We go to another store and it was a sports store. We get some sports clothes and shoes. I get Blake some things.
We go to a music store. I get some CD's and headphones. We go a movie store and get movies. When lunch comes around we call it quits. We meet at the food court for lunch.
"Now we get to go home and go through our crap." I say.
"Don't remind me." Halo says. We all start laughing. They got stuff for the new baby and all that.
"I had fun but I am tired as all hell." I say. "When we go home before we open anything you kids have to go through your rooms and get rid of things you don't want. We are giving them to kids who need them okay."
"Okay, I don't want to get rid of my teddy bear though." Emily says.
"You don't have to." I tell her.
"But I don't play with it." She starts crying and I hug her.
"Awww honey, that's okay you never ever have to get rid of your teddy bear. Mommy gave that to you you can keep it forever. I won't make you get rid of it." I tell her. I wipe her face and everyone thought it was the cutest thing.
"Okay I will say though you can open the things that Zac and Chloe got you. I'm sure they want to be there for that." I tell them
"Okay." We all go to the tattoo and piercings store. Halo tells them what she wants and lays down. She had on a crop top, skinny jeans, uggs, and a tank up under the crop top. She lays down and she has an innie belly button.
Emily watches in awe and I can't look. The lady doing the piercing tells Emily what she is doing as she does it. She pierces Halo's belly button and gives her care instructions. She gives her some cleaner and we leave. We leave the mall.
"Zac." Chloe says.
"What?"
"Guess who is giving me a foot rub when we get home?" She hints.
"Zane."
"No."
"Darn it." He messes with her then kisses her. We all go back to my house. Zac changes Blake's diaper and Chloe changes Zane's. The kids open the things they go from Zac and Chloe.
We give them the stuff we got them. They go home and I give the kids a box. Halo goes to Emily's room and I go to Andrew's. Andrew puts stuff he don't want anymore in the box. He puts some toys, clothes, shoes, blankets, hats, books, movies, and towels.
When he is done I put the box by the door. I go to my room with a box and put things I don't want anymore in it. I put my box by the door and Halo puts Emily's by the door.
Halo does hers and I start dinner while we wait. I also organize the things into certain bags. Halo finally puts her box by the door.
      "Okay kids comes here." I say. They sit at the table.
     "These are your bags. These are your bags." I say.
     "You didn't get into yours did you?"  Halo asks me.
      "No."
      "Okay." She hands me my bags and I hand her hers. We all open our bags. Halo pulls hers out of the Victoria Secret bag first to get it over with. She puts her head in her hands as she looks at it. She starts laughing.
      "I know who picked this out." She says.
      "Yours truly." I say while laughing.
      "Zac is a goon."
      "I told you he was." We start laughing. She pulls another out. It was a set.
      "I love this."
I smile and pull out a shirt that says that party don't start til I walk in. I start laughing. "Emily picked that out. She said you throw good birthday parties." Halo says. I laugh harder and she looks so proud. I hug her.
Emily pulls out her Pink stuff and smiles. Halo has some and she has been wanting some. She hugs me. We all open our things and put them away where they go.
We got both the girls converse. Andrew got some high tops that were Nike. We just got a bunch of things. We are spoiled rotten to the bone.
     "Jace!" Emily says.
     "Yes?"
     "Can I wear my new clothes to school Monday?"
      "I don't care."
      "Yes." I lay on the couch and cuddle Halo. I kiss her. I am truly blessed and thankful to have what I have. I say it often but it is true. I have amazing siblings an awesome fiancé. An awesome brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew. I couldn't be happier. I know they all feel the same way to.
