You send me a smile,
Then you send scowl.
Aided with a warm laugh,
Before you then frown.

I'm still unsure,
You do make me confused,
Do you want me for real,
Or will I just be used?

You act like you care,
Then become stone cold,
I don't understand,
you were once pure as gold.

Oh whatever happened,
To that boy I truely fell for?
The one that really cared,
And brought flowers to the door.

That greeted with kindness,
With a sparkle in his eyes,
Which has now surely faded,
Like the sun in storm's skies.

How much I mean to you,
Seems like an effort to show,
If you don't care anymore,
Why aren't you letting go?

When your love for morning's hues,
Slowly dissipated,
I knew everything was lost,
And we became "outdated"

You played upon the distance,
Keenly drifting afar,
Though I've been here to stay,
When you claim it all too hard.

Love will never be easy,
Even with the one you love,
And you'll know you've found the one,
When they refuse to give you up.
