You threw me into a damp, dark corner then told me to strive and burn brightly.

That's like telling someone to smile and cheer up after dragging them down in a swell of insecure words.

You smile as you chuck me into the depths while you expect me to stay afloat and breathe as you push me deeper under the crashing waves.
You expect me to speak unscathed words, but as soon as they leave my mouth, you smash them into minute pieces- then wonder why I refuse to speak aloud.

But once you've been set alight with a simple prick or touch, only then, your mouth spills poems as soft as rose petals.

So, out of honesty tell me this, is it love you feel, or lust?
