You always talked to that girl,
The one I didn't know.
I was always by your side,
You begged me not to go.
Though how can I stay,
If you no longer feel like home?
When you're housing other girls,
Who have a man back home.

You broke down as I left,
Asked me to come back.
I contemplated decisions,
And how you treated me back.

I was the only one who cared,
About keeping us afloat.
The only thing you cared about,
Was who would let you close.

You always cross my path,
Now all I can do is wave,
As you claim you're hurt,
But it's not your heart that did break.

How do you feel pain,
If you're the one who didn't care?
I trusted you with my heart,
Now it's beyond repair.

You spoke those three words,
But did they really mean a thing?
As I sat upon the floor,
To watch you claim your spot as king.
