With talons sharp,
Piercing my skin,
Looking back,
Regretting every sin.

The cold, eerie silence,
Of the murderous night.
Swooped in darkness,
In line of sight.

Beaming headlights,
Meet Grim's eyes,
Feathers delicately thin,
Enlarged in size.

Locked on prey,
Claws ready to strike.
Taken away from the night,
Silenced screams begging for light.
