His finger drew small circles around the small of my back, as we both lay there naked. My head sat upon his chest, listening to his heartbeat and the air that passed in and out through his lungs.

We both lay in silence, though it wasn't that awkward kind of silence. It was appreciative, a silence filled with awe and admiration as we admired the little things we'd never seen or noticed before- like how found he had a tattoo on the left side of his chest, close to his collarbone. It was a date, obviously one that was important to him, though during this time, I was reluctant to ask. Things were currently too perfect to ruin with personal questions that had sprouted from curiosity.

I glanced up at him, my eyes tracing along his jaw, and trailing up every detail, finally stopping at his eyes. They were closed. He was so stunning, so gorgeous; especially as a fraction of a warm, gentle, beam of sunlight, brushed across his angel-like features. At times like this, I wished that the moment would last forever.

He inhaled sharply before he began to stir. I smiled a warm smile as I rolled off of him and onto my back, making sure to give him enough room to roll over. One of his forest green eyes opened slightly, momentarily meeting mine before he gave a huff.

His body shifted closer as he swung an arm over my chest and pulled me in close. The warmth of his body radiated off of him and coarsed it's way around me, keeping me warm. After so many years of looking, waiting, I could finally say I found the true definition of 'home'.
