Autumn's POV
"Good morning baby"Greyson cooed up at me as I reached in his crib to change him and nurse him.I walked into Harper's room to see Dekotah asleep in her bed still from last night.
Mommy Asher mumbled and I turned to see him rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning baby boy"I shut Harper's door quietly and made Asher and I breakfast.We ate and I made a grocery list and took the grocery credit card from my wallet.Dekotah's parents walked in and she smiled as she held out her arms for Greyson.I handed him over hoping he would stay asleep.
"Goodness he's so precious"
"He's a good baby"Dekotah came down and I handed him a stack of blueberry pancakes.
Thank you he murmured taking the plate from me.
"How was she last night"
"She woke up every time i got up to leave the room"
"At least she's still sleeping now"
"Yeah at least she is"He finished his pancakes and took a quick shower and I showered while Dekotah's parents sat with the boys.Dekotah was in his office typing away when I walked in fully dressed.His key strokes slowed so i knew I had his attention even if he wasn't looking at me.He smiled when I tucked myself under his arm.
I love you i whispered.
Hm I love you too baby he murmured.
"Can we go christmas shopping tonight please"
"Baby we have three children to look after"
"Please you promised to go with me this year"
"I know baby but Harper won't sleep with me in her bed and Greyson depends on your for milk"
"We can take Greyson"
"What about Harper"
"We'll let her and Asher sleep in our room"
"That does help her sleep"
"There that settles it i'll ask the pack sitter to watch them"
"Alright and she's not the pack nanny she's our sitter"
"Right well you knew what i meant"I kissed his cheek and walked out of the room creating a list for each child of what they need.The lists consisted of clothing,books and a few toys.When i walked out of the office Harper was coming out of her room rubbing her eyes.
Mommy she whined and clung to my legs.I sighed it would be a long day if she was already clinging to me.
"Where daddy"
"He's busy right now baby girl should we have some breakfast mommy made your favorite"
"Pancake"
"Yes should we go eat some"She nodded happily and I lifted her up and walked downstairs to the kitchen.
"Good morning Harper"
"Morning"She wiggled down and Asher groaned when she tackled him.
Ashy hi she giggled.
Hi he grumbled.
"Baby girl come eat your pancake"She ate her breakfast and I gave Greyson attention as he laid in his swing.He reached up at me and I lifted him out of his seat and cradled him.Greyson had his first doctor's appointment today since he was a month old.I bundled him up and slipped on a track jacket and my boots.Dekotah was staying with Harper and Asher and I walked across the lot to the pack house office and heard the sounds of twigs snapping under my boots.I heard screams and I seen Dekotah in the window his office as I turned.I looked down at Greyson who was asleep.I heard a growl and i turned to see Ethan's wolf fighting an unfamiliar wolf.
'Keep walking'I turned and screamed.Greyson started to wail in my arms as I ducked down when I heard my name shouted.The wolf was down Dekotah's wolf attached to it clamping on it's throat.The wolf let out an ear screeching howl and I shuddered locking the pack doctor's office door behind me.I handed Greyson to the doctor and went to go check the fight and I smacked into Dekotah's chest.
Ouch I groaned as I fell on my ass.
"Baby are you okay"
"I'm okay"He pulled me to my feet and crushed me into a hug.
What was that I whispered.
"A rouge caught your luna scent"
"But why"
"Because when a luna is unguarded it's how you take the pack down because to hurt an Alpha physically and emotionally you kill the person who they are the most dependent on or the one they can't live without and baby your the person for me"Tears spilled out of my eyes and Dekotah whispered sweet words to me trying to soothe me.
"Sh baby sh i'm here"
I could of died I cried.He stilled and buried my face in his neck.
Baby i'd never let anything happen to you he whispered and i whimpered as he squeezed me.
"I don't want to go shopping anymore i'll shop online"
"Okay baby well let go and let's go check on Greyson"I took his hand tightly and we went to to check on Greyson who was cooeing happily on the scale.I smiled he was such a happy baby.
"Well i ran some tests and he will have the gene that Asher had so he will be experiencing the growth spurt"I frowned and sighed.
"But he's my baby I want him to stay my baby"
"I know luna but i'm sorry I can't take the gene out of him"
"We know thank you doctor"
"Your welcome Alpha"Greyson was in his arms and he whined reaching for me.I took him in my arms and nursed him as he got the vitamin boost.He reached back for Dekotah and he took Greyson bundling him up.Greyson ended up falling asleep on the walk back and I undressed him so he was just in his diaper since he would out grow the sleeper he was in.Dekotah was helping Harper and Asher with their colors and shapes.
"Daddy i have juice"
"Here you go baby girl"I heard her giggle and I smiled walking into Dekotah's office where both Asher and Harper sat on either side of him.
Mommy Asher mumbled getting down and he hugged my legs nestling his head into my leg.Dekotah smiled at me and I offered a no teeth smile and he frowned.
'Don't be scared'
'I'm not'
'It's written all over your face'
'Can i use your laptop'
'Sure'I powered the macbook on seeing a picture of all of us as his screensaver.I logged into several shopping sites and started Christmas shopping.
'Alpha Luna lunch is served'I looked up at Dekotah who was looking at me.The head chef rolled in with a cart full of hot food.We all had the same things chicken breasts on croissants with some fruit along with a side of vegetable soup.Dekotah thanked them and dismissed them.I bit into the sandwich and licked my lips.
